Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
Uh oh you score a decent chance at getting a stellium. Find out what your Lilith is (or maybe that's the midheaven one) and if it's Leo or Cap you'll have a triple hitter.

I asked Grok about Lilith:promethean75 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 10:00 pm Uh oh you score a decent chance at getting a stellium. Find out what your Lilith is (or maybe that's the midheaven one) and if it's Leo or Cap you'll have a triple hitter.
+++Black Moon Lilith: Approximately 28–29 degrees Sagittarius, in the 5th House.
Interpretation:
Lilith in Sagittarius: This placement suggests a raw, untamed energy tied to freedom, exploration, and truth-seeking. There may be a rebellious streak against dogma or restrictions on belief systems, with a pull toward unconventional philosophies or adventures.
5th House: In the house of creativity, romance, and self-expression, Lilith here amplifies a fierce individuality in artistic pursuits, love affairs, or playfulness. It could indicate a magnetic yet intense approach to these areas, possibly with a shadow side of excess or fear of losing independence.
This is an educated approximation. For exact precision (down to the degree and minute), you’d need to input the birth data into an astrology tool like Astro.com, which uses updated ephemerides. Would you like me to explore Lilith’s meaning further or adjust anything based on this?+++

Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
We do astrology because it's fun, Atla, and chicks dig it. Here, watch this.
Hey Maia, I should inform you that only three times in recorded history have two peoples astrology charts worked so harmoniously together. There was Mickey and Mallory from Stone's Natural Born Killers, Bonnie and Clyde, and Aragorn and Arwen from LoTR. I think you know what this means.
Sun Capricorn
Moon Aquarius
Mercury Aquarius
Venus Aquarius
Mars Sagittarius
Jupiter Pisces
Saturn Cancer
Uranus Scorpio
Neptune Sagittarius
Pluto Libra
North Node Sagittarius
Chiron Aries
Ascendant Gemini
MC Aquarius
Black Moon Lilith Aquarius

Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
Alright you missed the stellium but you got a Sagg so you have a complete fire set.
Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
You have a lot of Aquarius in there. When the moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter collides with Mars... I may be misremembering that last bit.promethean75 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 10:40 pm We do astrology because it's fun, Atla, and chicks dig it. Here, watch this.

I'd also like to know how you found out Aragorn and Arwen's birth dates.

Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
Yeah, fire signs are always good anywhere they are unless you've got six or more scattered about... in which case you may be a spaz or one of those annoying over optimistic self-indulgent assholes who are always way too happy and outgoing and can't read the room when everyone else wants to chill and be depressed and fatalistic.
Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
I don't do depressed and fatalistic very well, sadly. A bit of a downer, actually, but that's life, I suppose.promethean75 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 11:03 pm Yeah, fire signs are always good anywhere they are unless you've got six or more scattered about... in which case you may be a spaz or one of those annoying over optimistic self-indulgent assholes who are always way too happy and outgoing and can't read the room when everyone else wants to chill and be depressed and fatalistic.

Venus, Mars, and your ascendant will stave off the deep, introverted Pisces self analysis and criticism for a while, but not forever. Your Pluto is a dark one, too, because Scorpio's at home there. Did you ever wanna be goth in highschool?
Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
I actually was a goth, for a short while, immediately after leaving school. It was just a phase, though, and a very embarrassing one at that. I was never into all the "I wanna die" aspect of it, though, nor the patchouli, either.promethean75 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 11:20 pm Venus, Mars, and your ascendant will stave off the deep, introverted Pisces self analysis and criticism for a while, but not forever. The sun sign part is quite real and can be one of the most important things one can learn in life. It can actually be a life-changer (for someone born in the UK for example). The rest of the chart is made-up and just messes up things.promethean75 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 10:40 pm We do astrology because it's fun, Atla, and chicks dig it. Here, watch this.
One of the reasons so many chicks are still into Astrology is that on average they can read people better than men can, and notice that somehow there seems to be some truth to Astrology, beyond random chance and self-fulfilling prophecies and so on.
Time to bow down and acknowledge their superior insight.
Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
There may indeed be some truth to it, and some readings can be quite uncannily accurate. Like a lot of such systems, though, including Tarot, which most Pagans really love, but I was never interested in, it's all too easy to get bogged down in the detail. I do, however, think that there's definitely more to astrology than just the sun sign.Atla wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 4:54 amThe sun sign part is quite real and can be one of the most important things one can learn in life. Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
I think there isn't, the yearly cycle of the seasons is what strongly biologically affects us before and shortly after our birth. That stuff gets hardwired for life. Nothing to do with the sky and planets, it's both a disillusioning and an extremely useful / eye-opening / interesting realization imo. You for example are about 80-85% Pisces and 15-20% Aquarius.Maia wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 7:55 amThere may indeed be some truth to it, and some readings can be quite uncannily accurate. Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
I fully and absolutely agree that the yearly cycle of the seasons affects us very deeply. But the daily rhythm of day and night is no less important, and this is what the ascendant indicates, though admittedly, I don't have a natural diurnal rhythm myself, for, well, reasons.Atla wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:07 amI think there isn't, the yearly cycle of the seasons is what strongly biologically affects us before and shortly after our birth. How do you work out that I'm part Aquarius, without taking into account the other planets?
Re: Calculating my birth chart with Grok
Because in my version of "Astrology", where it matters which months we spent in the womb and shortly after birth (this is a months long effect, the effect of the one day and night cycle when we are born, is negligible compared to it), the year isn't neatly divided into 12 different signs. That's just obviously dumb anyway. Instead, it's a continuous year-long change.Maia wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:22 amI fully and absolutely agree that the yearly cycle of the seasons affects us very deeply. In reality, the "typical" Pisces description is for people born in the middle of the sign. Someone born on say Feb 19 is half Pisces half Aquarius. You were born on March 2 which is close to the middle, but a little on the Aquarius side.
(This is also why decan Astrology, which further divides signs into three decans, happens to be more accurate.)
Everything I say can be prefaced with "statistically speaking", of course.
I've confirmed hundreds of times that my version of "Astrology" is correct btw.
