Are you struggling right now?
Re: Can social struggle be avoided?
Just to remind you what we’re dealing with here.
AI Overview
Social struggle, or social conflict, refers to the power dynamics and oppositions that arise when groups or individuals with different interests, values, or goals interact and compete for resources or influence within a society.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
Definition:
Social struggle encompasses situations where two or more actors (individuals, groups, or organizations) oppose each other in social interactions, vying for resources or power, and attempting to achieve incompatible goals.
Examples:
Social struggles can manifest in various forms, including:
Class struggle: Conflict between different social classes (e.g., workers vs. owners) over economic resources and power.
Political conflict: Disputes between political parties, factions, or groups over policy, representation, or power.
Cultural conflict: Clashes between different cultural groups or ideologies over values, norms, or beliefs.
Social movements: Organized collective actions aimed at achieving social or political change, often challenging existing power structures.
Underlying Factors:
Social struggles are often rooted in:
Inequality: Disparities in wealth, power, status, or resources can fuel conflict.
Scarcity: Competition for limited resources, such as land, jobs, or opportunities, can lead to conflict.
Ideological differences: Disagreements over values, beliefs, or goals can create tensions and conflicts.
Power imbalances: Unequal distribution of power can lead to struggles for dominance and control.
Outcomes:
Social struggles can result in:
Social change: Conflict can lead to reforms, revolutions, or shifts in power dynamics.
Cooperation and compromise: Negotiation and dialogue can lead to agreements and solutions.
Escalation and violence: Conflicts can escalate into violence, repression, or even war.
Theoretical Perspectives:
Conflict theory: This perspective, associated with Karl Marx, views society as a arena of constant struggle and competition, with power and resources being the primary sources of conflict.
Functionalist theory: This perspective views social conflict as a necessary part of society, as it can lead to social change and adaptation.

Re: Can social struggle be avoided?
Are you referring to end stage capitalism?
Are you even going to say anything in this thread, or are you just going to leave the room?
Have you anything further to say?

Yes Gazza, not many people know this, but it's called ALCOHOL.
I've been trying to get you off stupid big pharma "lets experiment with this on people" meds for years, and return to what has been natural to us for aeons - but you wont listen...your gut naturally produces a small amount daily

I don't think Alcohol has anything to do with schizophrenia, as far as curing it. My problems can't be solved with alcohol, and most of the meds I'm on say not to drink alcohol while on them. Alcohol is a natural depressant, and I don't think I need to be any more depressed.attofishpi wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 10:46 pmYes Gazza, not many people know this, but it's called ALCOHOL.

The day you wise up, is the day you start GRADUALLY reducing your brain adjusted reliance only those ridiculous meds..even taking more than 1 is a fucking joke.
I'd be a raving nutjob at times without booze..in fact, so would half of Australia -hence why the bottlos were THE ONLY places left unrestricted during covid lockdown - LMAO -the othoritees didn't want a riot on their hands!

What are 'your', supposed, 'problems', here, EXACTLY, "gary childress'?Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 12:26 am My problems can't be solved with alcohol, and most of the meds I'm on say not to drink alcohol while on them.
Also, when I USE the 'problems' word I USE it with 'the definition', 'A question posed for A solution'. So, if you do NOT present 'A solution based question', then NO one can PROVIDE you with AN ACTUAL SOLUTION.
By the way, you are EXACTLY Right yours NOR ANY one ELSE's 'problems' could be NOR would be SOLVED WITH alcohol.

I get psychoses and go into delusional episodes periodically, especially if I'm off meds.Age wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 12:35 amWhat are 'your', supposed, 'problems', here, EXACTLY, "gary childress'?Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 12:26 am My problems can't be solved with alcohol, and most of the meds I'm on say not to drink alcohol while on them.
Re: Can social struggle be avoided?
IMAGINE being RELIANT ON 'alcohol', and NOT being ABLE TO GRADUALLY reduce 'that brain's' adjusted reliance on ridiculous alcohol, which even just taking one, let alone any more than one is A joke, while INSTRUCTING another to GRADUALLY reduce 'the drug' of their choosing. And, IMAGINE doing this while also ENCOURAGING the other to take up the USE of alcohol.attofishpi wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 12:32 amTish and pish to """schizophrenia""Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 12:26 amI don't think Alcohol has anything to do with schizophrenia, as far as curing it. So, is ONLY when you are NOT 'alcohol affected' when you thing or BELIEVE that God, Itself, is just an 'artificial intelligence' created BY someone or something ELSE?attofishpi wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 12:32 am I'd be a raving nutjob at times without booze..in fact, so would half of Australia -hence why the bottlos were THE ONLY places left unrestricted during covid lockdown - LMAO -the othoritees didn't want a riot on their hands!
See, thinking or BELIEVING 'this' is what some would call could only come from someone who is being A 'raving nutjob'.
