Every decision is subject to revision. Every decision. There is no such thing as a final decision.

Aye, yer back!
Re: Every decision we make is BINARY
There definitely is such a thing as a final decision, albeit a relative final decision, a mental construction.
I am the first and the last idiot.

So you chose 2 (to consider, if you insist) from between 1,2 or 3. Not binary.

“Between” (either of two selections) is binary, however “between” (a location on the number line situated to the right of one and the left of the other) isn’t.

You can substitute "among" if it makes you feel better.commonsense wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 7:41 pm“Between” (either of two selections) is binary, however “between” (a location on the number line situated to the right of one and the left of the other) isn’t.![]()

Same difference. The synonym changes nothing.LuckyR wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 9:08 pmYou can substitute "among" if it makes you feel better.commonsense wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 7:41 pm“Between” (either of two selections) is binary, however “between” (a location on the number line situated to the right of one and the left of the other) isn’t.![]()
Re: Every decision we make is BINARY
I agree, just as your stipulation that "between" must reference two and only two choices, making selections binary, doesn't mean what you imply it means.commonsense wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 9:10 pmSame difference.
