I've got no friends and I'm not a sex offender. Although, pretty certain there's lots of ex-girlfriends that were offended by the manner I defiled them.

Thus, the REASON WHY some really do have NO friends.

I had an episode yesterday where i did some antisocial adolescent schizophrenic fantasy building after experiencing a series of coincidences between my life and current situation, the myth of Prometheus, and Yes's Yours Is No Disgrace. Very unlikely coincidences emerged with the lyrics of the song and some of what i posted. Things i didn't set up on purpose came together, and then suddenly, i felt like Charles Manson receiving a secret message in a song from my Titan protectors. I believe i am on a life journey of greek epic proportions and that the Titan's purple wolfhounds show them where i am as I journey north to defeat Zeus (the State), and i am supposed to become an immortal hero but die a tragic death, obviously. Wtf am i supposed to do?

The question is, when we imbue our reality with metaphysical and mythological symbolism and meaning... where do we draw the line?

History, religion, and myth is full of allegedly superordinary superhuman people. So why should the possibility of such people stop now? Why, necessarily, would it not be happening now and could have only happened then?

How can you be certain you are just some runofthemill nobody on their little journey to heaven? What if none of Christianity is true and you are, in fact, an even more important, more powerful person than you thought, with a divine fate and a legacy that will be left behind you?

What if one day Henry, Biggs and Flash are administering to whole universes having become gods after living countless lives and completing the heraclean labors?

The original VW vans were cheap, underpowered tin cans. The trick for a big hill was to tuck in close behind a tractor trailer rig and draft up the hill, like a bicycle or a goose. These newfangled VW vans are packed with fancy expensive motors, expensive safety devices and electronics, which defeats the purpose and philosophy of the original VW vans. To see hippies in a shiny new one today would be a further mockery of the days when cheap and practical was fashionable.

I had the brown on beige 1984 Vanagon Westfalia Wolfsburg edition back around 2007ish. Not the hippy one... the nice uppermiddle class IBM german with the calculator watch vanagon. It had everything, including the kitchen sink.

I do regret getting it. I never once used the frig, stove, or sink, and when loaded down, the little flat four 1.9 liter couldn't getcha faster than about 35 goin' up 321 to blowin rock. Traded it for a big Chevy g20 pedovan that could double as a work van. Took the runnin boards off it so it wouldn't have the grandpa's roadtrip look to it, but i couldn't shake the creepiness of it. So i just bought some glasses with really thick lenses that magnify my eyes, and i wear a brown Members Only jacket with a blue izod shirt with yellow horizontal stripes when i drive the van around. I also keep an old soft pack of Winston's and a coffee stained stack of dog-earred road maps on the dash under the seven month old christmas tree air freshener hanging from the chipped rear view mirror. I keep the blinds and curtains fully drawn and have a bumper sticker that says Minnesota County Police Citizens Volunteer.

A girlfriend of mine (yes I have many) is treating me to a show at the Adelaide Fringe this afternoon. Something akin to a planetarium type thing I think, probably aimed at kids and telling me stuff I mostly already know, but who cares!

So me n Jesus were born on the same day but different years, obviously making us both the ultimate sign of the zodiac, Pisces.
