Intrinsic nature of reality and consciousness
Intrinsic nature of reality and consciousness
Can information be processed by anything other than a computer of some kind? Can it only exist by virtue of something else knowing it via a processor of some kind? If space is intrinsic, then perhaps information about the singularity point the size of the Planck length is also intrinsic. Perhaps this intrinsic space and information created another intrinsic property: sentience or consciousness. If information has to exist by definition and it can only exist when processed by a system then perhaps (the most basic and dull hum of) consciousness was here forever too. This would corroborate the theory of panpyschism.

Panpsychism is interesting, and I believe a fertile path of inquiry. As near as I can understand, everything is information. I wonder if the existence of something is not the interpretation of its collective past in the moment, whatever that something is, its function is to be what it is, and nothing else; it may change, and yet when changed to new information, its function is then to be what it is and nothing else in that moment. I believe both apparent reality for the organism is its reactions to the totality of the greater reality, which would infer that reactions compounded would be the nature of consciousness. What consciousness is reacting to are the information energies it is attuned to. It is biology that is the processor of apparent reality, as far as we know, and called subjectivity. Perhaps you could say that reaction is the interpreter of information energies, but the cosmos is a creative cause, and a reactive process. So, there is no wide leap from the inanimate to the animate.

Organisms are information, that through their reactions to energy, frequencies, and vibrations, create their apparent world through a biological readout of said energies of information. Not sure exactly what you are asking of, its all information.Impenitent wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 5:31 pm information is another human tool

Squirrels are energy forms of information, who are attuned to other energy forms, and all information is in the form of energies.
