^^^ That's what you got out of the essay I linked you to?
Re: How to see God’s invisible presence.
What I get is to get right with God/ goodness.
That’s all there is to get, when you get that there’s nothing else to get. Everything else is just the devil in the detail.
Non-applicable.
Have a wonderful day.
Enjoy the gift

So you're cool with the greatest irony in the history of the earth, then?
You look around and see the shit world that capitalism has created, and instead of wanting to stop the madness, you start praising religion... the very thing that got the world into this mess?

It’s not as it seems.promethean75 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 8:48 am So you're cool with the greatest irony in the history of the earth, then?

Be your own authority.
I have no argument with you or anyone.

“ Sometimes it’s really funny to know that the fictional character who actually can portray your life is ‘Gollum’…Longing for the one you Love the most. The one who was the reason for the destruction of your life. And the one whom you think is PRECIOUS! “. . LOTR
For prom…things are not what they seem, nor are they otherwise. Religion is just a meaningless word.
I am the word and the word is God.
The Word is not merely a spoken word but a person, as the uni verse reveal, who is active in the world. This phrase indicates a distinct yet intimate relationship between the Word and God. The preposition "with" suggests a face-to-face relationship, implying both distinction and unity.

“He wants the Precious. Always he is looking for it. And the Precious is wanting to go back to him...”

"I am the word and the word is God."
No, you are not 'the word', and Bird is the word, not 'God'.
Everybody knows about the Bird, but you, apparently.

I am doing my part to stop the madness. Why do you think we got kicked out of eden?
So that we would be free to go our own way, to know freedom, and to know that we can never leave our roots, we leave home, knowing we can always return home, to the place we love best, home sweet home.
In the play of duality, You first have to lose eden, to find eden. When you lose you win. Metaphorically speaking.
You want eden? well so do I, I mean who wouldn't want eden?
Are you doing your part to stop the madness?

So explain why you believe the Bird is the word, but God is not the word?promethean75 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 10:32 am

I mean you can leave your roots, be uprooted, but without your roots, you have nothing to nurture and support you.

Ohhhh, i see what's going on here. A human being who was once an atheist is getting closer and closer to death, so they're trying that old trick where they pretend like they now believe in god.
Why would you advise me to believe in such a god who could be fooled so easily as yours?

Yes, that's exactly what I am doing, I'm old, a once upon a time non believer of God, nearing my death, and is why I am running out of time to get right with God.promethean75 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 3:37 pm Ohhhh, i see what's going on here. I changed my mind, I love God, and know God exists. What happens to me when I'm dead, is up to my maker, I trust only in the process of life and death and where life leads, or doesn't lead. Either way, I feel good about either outcome.
You are under no obligation to believe in anyone else's God. Believe what you want, or don't believe in anything at all, I don't care, but you can change your mind about whatever you believe. We are all a work in progress, always under construction. And if you don't believe in anything at all, then good for you. That'll be your story, not mine.promethean75 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 3:37 pmWhy would you advise me to believe in such a god who could be fooled so easily as yours?
Re: How to see God’s invisible presence.
BTW, I've always believed in God, even during my days as an atheist I still believed in God.
It's just that I didn't want to admit it to myself, that I knew God exists. I just didn't want to make God all about me, so I denied God as existing for me.
I didn't want to take on God's character role, so I chose to step out of my own way, and allow God to manage all my worldly affairs from now on. And of course, manage my afterlife affairs too. Now, that just makes me feel so good, knowing I am always in the capable hands of my creator.

I’ve seen that film.promethean75 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 9:00 pm You got it all wrong, holy man.... I absolutely believe in god... and I absolutely hate the fucker...
But coming back to seeing God.
Ask yourself, do you see yourself? Ask yourself, do I exist?
What would be the answer to that one question ( do I exist ) ?
If there’s no one around to ask a question, will there be an answer?
