^^^ Trying to trace out Thirteen, and my god is this difficult (for me). I can play comfortably in thirteen (that Jacob's Ladder part was in thirteen) if i have an emphasized bass line or guitar line to follow because i can't count and play at the same time. My brain can't handle it. I can do one or the other, but not simultaneously. So i need notes to land on on the downbeat, or I'll get lost.

I'm trying to put the snare note on one two, one two three, one two three four but i can't hear that keyboard chord I'm using as as marker. I need a fuckin storage bin so i can crank this shit up and hear it. Headphones help but they're odd sounding and cancel sound out that i want to hear.

I think the drummer on that tour was Chad Whackerman. Him or Vinnie. Listen to em running all over the place in that thirteen. These guys can do this in their sleep. Frank wouldn't have me because I'm a burned out pothead druggy who doesn't know wtf he's doing, but he would jam with me for fun if I stopped by studio Z and we would have a session tape.
