If i can just get the spacing right, I'm satisfied. The fills get meatier when you know the song (which i don't), so you gotta try to trace it out first.

The Tinsel Town Rebellion is what happened to music. Everybody from Madam Wong's to Starwood knows that.

It continued into relevance, leaving you behind as a relic.

Let's celebrate all that modernity with a current outfit, sort of reviving Siouxsie and the Banshees and Bauhaus from the 80s.

You just can't help being a *u**. What exactly do you mean by 'relevance'? Even teenagers these days acknowledge that 'modern' music is a pile of dogshit.

I don't doubt that you are willing to bully your own grandchildren into saying that.

Awww, poor little wokie man being 'bullied' by the mean lady :( My tastes are eclectic. Great music and songs never becomes 'irrelevant' (whatever the fuck you mean by that). No doubt you think that Taylor Swift is a modern day Joni Mitchell

You are a little old hausfrau with hips made of sand sand. You don't hang around at skateparks finding out that teens dislike modern music. You are a sad old fraud.

Let's celebrate your sadness and oldness with a little bit of lovely Scottish rock n roll.

I'm pretty sure you are older than I am you sexless old undie stain. You can't even insult intelligently. How the fuck can someone be a 'fraud' on here?

Just felt like picking a fight did ya? Not much going on in your life then? Needed to vent some of that woke misogyny to remind yourself that you are still alive? Take it from me; you aren't.

Making up lies about teenagers agreeing with you about your old people music being the best is one way.

That's just a blatant lie. I don't tell people what to listen to. I've just noticed that A LOT of young people love 80s music in particular and yearn for that era.

People actually compare these two.

Fever dream high in the quiet of the night
You know that I caught it (oh yeah, you're right, I want it)
Bad, bad boy, shiny toy with a price
You know that I bought it (oh yeah, you're right, I want it)
Killing me slow, out the window
I'm always waiting for you to be waiting below
Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes
What doesn't kill me makes me want you more
And it's new, the shape of your body
It's blue, the feeling I've got
And it's ooh, whoa-oh
It's a cruel summer
"It's cool, " that's what I tell 'em
No rules in breakable heaven
But ooh, whoa-oh
It's a cruel summer with you (yeah, yeah)
Hang your head low in the glow of the vending machine
I'm not dying (oh yeah, you're right, I want it)
You say that we'll just screw it up in these trying times
We're not trying (oh yeah, you're right, I want it)
So cut the headlights, summer's a knife
I'm always waiting for you just to cut to the bone
Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes
And if I bleed, you'll be the last to know, oh
It's new, the shape of your body
It's blue, the feeling I've got
And it's ooh, whoa-oh
It's a cruel summer
"It's cool, " that's what I tell 'em
No rules in breakable heaven
But ooh, whoa-oh
It's a cruel summer with you
I'm drunk in the back of the car
And I cried like a baby coming home from the bar (oh)
Said, "I'm fine, " but it wasn't true
I don't wanna keep secrets just to keep you
And I snuck in through the garden gate
Every night that summer, just to seal my fate (oh)
And I screamed, "For whatever it's worth
I love you, ain't that the worst thing you ever heard?"
He looks up, grinnin' like a devil
It's new, the shape of your body
It's blue, the feeling I've got
And it's ooh, whoa-oh
It's a cruel summer
"It's cool, " that's what I tell 'em
No rules in breakable heaven
But ooh, whoa-oh
It's a cruel summer with you
I'm drunk in the back of the car
And I cried like a baby coming home from the bar (oh)
Said, "I'm fine, " but it wasn't true
I don't wanna keep secrets just to keep you
And I snuck in through the garden gate
Every night that summer, just to seal my fate (oh)
And I screamed, "For whatever it's worth
I love you, ain't that the worst thing you ever heard?"
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

Rows and floes of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way

But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way

I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all

Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels
The dizzy dancing way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real
I've looked at love that way

But now it's just another show
You leave 'em laughing when you go
And if you care, don't let them know
Don't give yourself away

I've looked at love from both sides now
From give and take, and still somehow
It's love's illusions I recall
I really don't know love at all

Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say "I love you" right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds
I've looked at life that way

But now old friends are acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Well something's lost, but something's gained
In living every day

I've looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all

I've looked at life from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all

Not forgetting that Joni Mitchell wrote beautiful, haunting melodies to go with her beautiful, haunting lyrics--no electronic 'embellishments' needed. The melody is 'kind of' important with a song

Why do you have to be like this all the time, Veg? I need you to get up on the dance floor and give that man what he's aksing for

(Latin kit with cow bell assigned to ride cymbal, maraca to highhats and wood block to left peddle lol)

Interesting that the past couple of decades has produced NO great songwriters or music in general (for the first time in recent history). Clearly the shallow online world of Tik Tok and clickbait, with an obsessive need for 'likes', is not conducive to creative genius.
