Being honest I'd say is a quality, but trust me, NOBODY is honest within the first month of dating. As far as I can tell, you blow as much smoke up each others arse that you think you can get away with, and then gradually let each other down with how boring and crap you both are.

Maybe my biggest blow smoke might be along the lines that Warner Bros are looking at turning my book into a film, but are being a bit short on the million bucks I want.

Fair enough, then I won't use the word "qualities", but I let women know up front what they are in for if they stick with me.

I choose not to deceive, you say you choose to deceive. It may catch up to you some day or it may not. Either way, I've been honest and haven't wasted any women's time by deceiving her into thinking I'm anything other than what I am. I am no authority on anything. And sometimes I feel incredibly alone and isolated in a world full of the "faithful" and "knowledgeable".

Remember though, nobody who knows they are alive has ever been alive before.
It's not like we can ever say to ourself with absolute certainty.... ( oh no, not this living life thing again, I've done this so many times before, so I better damn well make certain I get it right this time, and not fuck it up, like the last time ) .....

People have no idea who they are really, or why they are human and not a snail or something, nor do we know what we are doing, so it seems everyone is just muddling through the best they can, making it all up as they go along. No thing alive has any knowledge of anything really. That's a deep truth that most people reject. Everyone is in the same predicament, in that no one who is human knows anything, all they know is that they exist, and that's all. Everything else is simply imagination, drawn from the capacity to conceptualise life. So you really are not alone, in fact, everyone is alone, we are all alone in our own aloneness. No one can even begin to know another person because there is zero access to other minds. We're all islands unto ourselves, no one is going to rescue us from our solitary desert lives. We were alone in the vast dark void of nothingness oblivious to anything before our birth, and we continue to live an oblivious life when we are born, returning to oblivion after we die.

So what I've personally realised about my birth, is that my birth was all for me, it is all me, it is all mine. So I might as well treat it as if I created it just for myself, and that's what I've been doing all my life, treating my life as if I am the only person alive, and everything else is just along for my entertainment to distract me from thinking about the oblivious void that is my true nature.

And last of all, I am probably not an example for anyone to want to live up to. Who would want to be like me? Failure is not a model to live up to.

You do not have to be an example to anyone but yourself. No one owes you anything, and you do not owe anyone anything either. All that matters is what feels good for you. You make yourself what you want to be, not what others expect you to be. How you choose to live your life is the only thing worth living for and that will be none of anyone else's business but your own. When you can live happy and in love with yourself alone, what could possibly go wrong? You are the master in your own universe. That's how I live my life, as if I personally created it just for me. Eh!

The most important relationship in your life is the relationship you have with yourself. Because no matter what happens, you will always be with yourself.

Honestly, I can totally relate to that sentiment. I guess I'm just a lazy eater, I can't be bothered exploring the expanse of the wider menu that I know is available.
