A belief is a proposition that you accept as true.
You assert "'I' have NO beliefs at all", which is a proposition that you apparently accept as true, i.e. a belief.
However, the belief "'I' have NO beliefs at all" is clearly contradictory.
A belief is a proposition that you accept as true.
OBVIOUSLY one would HAVE TO first have a proposition that they accept as true. I do NOT have propositions that I accept as true. Therefore, unlike 'you' I do NOT have beliefs, here.
Talk about another prime example of one believing some thing to be true BEFORE even beginning to just seek out CLARIFICATION, FIRST.
OBVIOUSLY, this one has PROVED, AGAIN, that it is, still, NOT YET OPEN enough to just 'discuss' things, here.
I understand the bible to simply be a book of philosophy. Which of course comes a bit after Socrates created it. It reminds me of a song by "Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World."Fairy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 9:02 am Notice and observe how no ancient or present day religion or philosophy prioritised happiness, but peace and meaning and stillness.
So even when I got what I thought would make me happy, maybe for a brief spell, it would seem so, but that would always change. But peace within has a calming depth that I can enter into, and the depth keeps expanding.
'' He who seeks, let him not cease seeking until he finds; and when he finds he will be troubled, and when he is troubled he will be amazed, and he will reign over the All. and when he has reigned, he shall find rest. '' ~ The immortal words of Jesus. R. I. P.
Everything you say is deemed "possibly true" until you say a contradiction.
As I have pointed out already, this one is OBVIOUSLY NOT YET OPEN, and thus READY, to have a discussion, here.
