I found this on a random jazzish playlist couple days ago. Why is this such a good song. It's not for reasons you think. It's because this song was written in 2020 and yet it is a perfect replica of that genuine seventies french pop sound sans the English dialogue. They captured and reproduced the sound perfectly.
It's a good song because it sounds good, sure, but also good for that authentic sound. To do that in 2020 is impressive. It's difficult not to make crap in the studio in 2020.
