Perhaps for the same reason you do it in those instances when you do it. One can only hope you notice this.[/quote]
Ah, so you can't remember doing this yourself. That's too bad. I hoped to guide you to an excellent source of knowledge: your own behavior and then your own motivations. But, alas, you are not competent at introspection or, again, it seems remembering itself; or you lack the curiosity to try. Good to know. I can understand how from your limited perspective you saw this as me not clarifying.So,
1. Once more this one just does not clarify. And, the reason why this one does not I have explained already.
Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 6:44 amAgain, your limited use and understanding of English is showing again, or you are asking a question about someone else's behavior while you know the answer. In any case it was a type of epiplexis or counter-questioning.And, why are you 'you' even asking questions to "your" own 'self' here, and answering them "yourself" here, on a philosophy forum?
Yes, this is part of the unruly nature of the world. It doesn't always do your bidding, Age. Even many children begin to understand this before adulthood, to varying degrees. I know it is frustrating for you, not to have control of everything. I understand that you get upset when people do not do exactly what you think they should (read: follow your preferences) when they communicate.But it had nothing to do with what I actually said, and meant.

Really? I didn't ask a question to myself in what I quoted? And you did not ask me about that?But it had nothing to do with any thing in what you quoted.
I fear your perceptive abilities are going the way of your memory, though it can be tricky to distinguish the effects of these related kinds of atrophy.

See how quickly this one 'jumps' to 'a conclusion', again based off of absolutely nothing at all other than its own presumption/s.Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 7:15 amAh, so you can't remember doing this yourself. That's too bad.So,

Which has led me to not read and respond to the rest here. This is because if from the very beginning this one is 'believing', absolutely, that its very own made up assumptions are what is actually true and right here, and especially when they are absolutely False and Wrong, then, it follows, the rest will also be completely 'out of whack' also, as some might say here, now.
So, it is that 'I' must leave 'you', now.
Re: "atheist" equals "theist"
Now, back to the title of this thread;
Believing or disbelieving some thing exists, or not, and debating or fighting over 'that', while never even having discussed and accepted an agreed upon definition for 'that thing', itself, is absolutely futile. And, even is damaging, destructive, deteriorating, destroying, and downright debilitating.
As the last few thousand years of human history, hitherto when this is being written, has proved irrefutable True, Right, Accurate, and Correct.

Okay.
