He didn't say that, I know he didn't say that, and I apologise for not backing down from this claim even after I knew he didn't say that. I understand why everyone thinks I'm dishonest, I will try to be more honest and truthful in the future.

So this implication that he's having some kind of double standard there seems absurd to me
