Reasons for Living

Post by Osric »

There were many times in my life where I thought about dying. Now that things are getting better, I want to live again. Lesson is, don't give up, you never know if things will get better or not. I spent about 5 years in prison, and over 2 years in this mental hospital. The only thing I miss is about the outside world is competitive online gaming. I currently have a tv and an Xbox 360, which helps pass the time. I also read a lot. Some of the my favorite authors are Terry Goodkind, Terry Pratchett, and R.A. Salvatore.

I also love music, I went the longest time without music, it made me appreciate the little things.

Stay alive, guy. Take charge of yourself. Put your shoes on and take a walk. Look at the world. Be in it.

What is funny, is that the prison I was in gave us all tablets like a week before I was released. Free pod casts, free books, and free educational stuff. They also had things you can buy, such as music and movies. Does anyone know if prisons are still giving them out? I'm just curious.

I was in one minimum security prison, two medium security prisons and one maximum security prison, and none of em let u online, much less own tablets and shit. Your contact with the world was through a block phone and TV, a pocket size radio, newspapers and mail.

U could get a smart phone smuggled in tho.

The reason for living is meaning that none of us has an idea what it is!

If there is no one around who cares whether you are dead or alive then you are essentially dead anyway (or nonexistent). We only exist in the minds of others. I suppose that's why so many people resort to cats and dogs. It's the only way to validate their own existence. Sad but true.
