Re: Trump fired on at rally?
Looks like news organizations are confirming he's a registered republican
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/heres- ... 024-07-14/
While also confirming that three years ago, he donated to that leftist voting thing. So it's ambiguous.

Re: Trump fired on at rally?
What is ambiguous? The motive for shooting, or just your pronoun?
No doubt yes, the motive is ambiguous. That's because the shooter is dead, and because possible causes for his assassination attempt are not as limited as your media-conditioned capacity for interpreting reality.

And, if you never ever explain and clarify what the words 'the world' means and/or are referring to, to you, exactly, then absolutely no one will 'know' and 'understand' 'your position', here.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 11:02 amI'm not going to go through and explain the nuances of my position. And how many times have I told you that adult human beings are not responsible for the way this world works.
By the way:
What do the words 'this world' refer to, exactly?
How does 'this thing', which you call 'this world', work, exactly?
So, when you say, 'this world', then what are you are talking about and referring to, exactly?
Why do you 'now' say, 'If there is a God', when you had just said that, 'we are talking about 'the God' that created this 'F'ed up world'.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 10:28 am For example: We create plastic thinking it's a miracle invention that will make life easier for us all and it turns out to be harmful to the environment and to ourselves. By the way, would you say you 'understand' what I am getting at, and to, here?

Well, that puts to rest the pronoun ambiguity.

From Assets Magazine
Thomas Crooks has come up in several intelligence reports recently. He lives in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, and is known for his extreme views and involvement in violent incidents.
Investigations into Crooks’ background reveal links to radical groups, including online associations with people promoting drastic actions against perceived enemies.
Thomas Crooks Parents however denied having any knowledge about his use of guns or radical ideology. They however admitted that they were aware of his assaults on fellow students in college.
Minneapolis Demonstrations (2021): Crooks was purportedly part of Antifa actions during demonstrations in Minneapolis, marked by confrontations with police and incidents of arson. He was twice released on bail with the help of his parents.

Why is this site so hard to copy and paste from? Anyway, this paragraph made my eyes spin:
Was this even written by a human being? In what world does it make sense to end that sentence with "typical feature of childhood trauma"?There were rumours that he had a very normal childhood and that his parents were caring and haven’t had much arguments or fights at home, which is a typical feature of childhood trauma.

Artificial intelligence? More like artificial stupidity. Even the free version of chatgpt wouldn't write a sentence that dumb.henry quirk wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 1:52 pmAI wrote it.Flannel Jesus wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 1:38 pmWhy is this site so hard to copy and paste from? Who knows what information is valid or accurate? Perhaps nothing should be quoted until trustworthy information is presented. I found that site using search — as anyone could do and many are doing.

I noticed that. Some sites don’t allow copying. The page has a “share” function though.Flannel Jesus wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 2:03 pm Why is this site so hard to copy and paste from? Anyway, this paragraph made my eyes spin:
Frankly I only paid attention to the implication of his involvement with some of the radical Left groups.

Re: Trump fired on at rally?
Not surprising. In the Antifa mindset, what they see as fascism is something to be opposed in radical ways if necessary. And Trump has been labeled a fascist by some, especially in lieu of his remarks about "dictator for a day" and the "Project 2025" thing that is apparently going on. His mouth probably caught up to him yesterday.Alexis Jacobi wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 12:14 pm From Assets Magazine

I get email donation solicitations from MoveOn and various other organizations (I think due to a couple petitions I signed and maybe a couple donations I made a number of years back). They still send me news and lately, they've been harping on "Project 2025". Can't say I know much about it (most of their mail goes into my spam and into the trash), but from what Sculptor posted months ago, Project 2025 sounds like some conservative organization is going to attempt a takeover of the government if Trump is elected, or some such craziness.
I mean, I'm glad Trump is OK. I just hope all the scary stuff I hear sometimes concerning the Republicans isn't true. Chomsky, thinks they're going to end life on Earth with policies that would promote climate change and reckless nuclear diplomacy.
