Race and Income

I came across the article today, which I've posted the link to at the top of this thread. After skimming it, I looked up statistics on median household income in the US by race (the linked image). It appears that race is still a decisive determiner of median household income in the US. Not sure how things look in Europe or other places in terms of race, but it does seem like it behooves a person to acknowledge and address the plight of blacks as being distinct and more challenging than that of other groups when there are income disparities of this sort.

I suppose Asians are just cleverer and/or more hard working than other Americans. What should they do? Get lobotomised?

I have no idea what they should do. I suppose it's a bit like Kurt Vonnegut's short story Harrison Bergeron. The supreme handicapper must handicap them or something.

Yes, I agree. The former is fairer to everyone, and the latter is unfair to those who work harder or smarter and therefore deserve a better outcome.

Interesting conclusion based on the (limited) information presented.

Garbage in, garbage out as they say.

Must be all that extra 'privilege' they have then, by virtue of their skin hue

Poor wee wokesters. Such a confused little lot of imbeciles. Has anyone ever seen an Asian wokester?

Funny how folks who aren't a member of a group are "experts" on the inner workings and nuances of those groups. They'd do better asking questions rather than making declarations.

Don't be silly. Wokesters NEVER answer questions. Avoiding quesions and 'answering' with single word insults to avoid bothersome debates (which they know they will lose) is at the core of their existence. They are the least interesting individuals in the history of humans. Unfortunately these self-serving, disingenuous dullards have managed to weasel a hell of a lot of power and influence for themselves by scurrilous means.

The thread didn't deserve a particularly serious response anyway. Why do Americans persist in thinking that THEIR country is the only one that matters and the be-all-and-end-all of countries? Why should anyone from anywhere else give a rat's arse what the income distribution of Americans is by skin tone any more than Americans would care if someone from China came on here and said that Chinese were the wealthiest demographic in China?

What "group" are you referring to? The rainbow WOKE "community" - - the people I know that are gay or bi reject such daft sentiments of there being an actual "community" as much as I do.

In fact they can't stand the "pride" marches and think men showing their butt cheeks to little kids is at least in poor taste..

So prey tell, what "group" does one need to be a member of to comprehend these "inner workings and nuances" ?

Typical response when reality doesn't conform to opinion.
