Perhaps life is a wonderful thing...for others. But my birth was a mistake. It should never have happened. Survival of the fittest is cruel. And we live in a cruel world. I lose.
To be intelligent is to have analytical thinking skills. To be analytical is to examine possibility. To rely on probabilities is to be wise. To be wise is to recognize uncertainties.

To be ignorant is the opposite of being intelligent. To be certain is the opposite of being doubtful.

It’s that straightforward, Gary.

Example of Stupid Certainty: Trump and his MAGA followers.

Example of Doubt and intelligence: all good scientists..

I think you can probably find examples of doubtful fools. But they have little impact.
And people who are intelligent and have the arrogance to deny their own doubt are as dangerous as the certain fools;

What do you think I just said? And ignorant isn't the opposite of intelligent (despite what online McDikshinry might say).

Was I wrong to agree with what you just said?
I was once knowledgeable about Latin, and at the same time I was ignorant of Greek. I am knowledgeable about American football and ignorant about ice hockey. I once was knowledgeable about Judaism yet I am ignorant of Islam.
What would you say is the opposite of intelligent?

Even morons can be correct sometimes.
Knowledge is not the same as intelligence.
Though you need some intelligence to have knowledge you can know a lot and be pretty stupid.
And though you might be super intelligent, you can also lack much knowledge.
But even those that are stupid and ignorant can repeat things which are true.
Intelligent and knowedgable people can repeat falsehoods, and opinions held in bad faith.

There is no opposite of intellgence, but that which is a lack of it. Intelligence is about degree of mental capacity in a range of areas. A lack of it is often called stupidity.

What's even worse is someone with intelligence who feigns ignorance for scumbag political reasons.
