The spread of "british values and culture" upon nations, where they intend/ed
to force their God's commandments on everyone was and is something we all were, are, and should still be concerned about.
"British invasion" upon nations was and still is a blight and curse upon 'the world'.
Most of the people(s) of the world that once made up the British Empire, are VERY happy with their democracies courtesy of said former empire. The Commonwealth is still strong because of it.
Take Gibraltar for an example:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibraltar
The sovereignty of Gibraltar is a point of contention in Anglo-Spanish relations, as Spain asserts a claim to the territory.[14][15] Gibraltarians overwhelmingly rejected proposals for Spanish sovereignty in a 1967 referendum, and for shared sovereignty in a 2002 referendum.
I have already responded to this.
And, what you say and claim here is after 'the land' had already been stolen, and the people asked to vote now already belong to 'the family' of those that stole 'that land' called "gibraltar".
If one was to ask 'the people' from the family of those who had 'that land' stolen from them to vote, then you will get a completely different and completely opposing finding, very unsurprisingly.

Also, and most importantly
...to force their God's commandments on everyone was most definitely NOT the reason the British settled the world hence the British Empire.
Yes true. The "british" invaded, stole, and settled parts of the earth to satisfy the wants, wishes, and commandments of the very greedy and power hungry "british royal family".
And, you followers and believers of 'that family' have obviously been 'suckered in'.
