God, country and guns... faith based religions

Post by Peter Kropotkin »

a look at America, shows us that our faith, is found
in a couple of different ideas..... and god, country and guns,
are one set of faith based beliefs..... the GOP/MAGA party
holds to this set of beliefs in some mixed fashion......
one can hold to god or to country or to guns, as the basis
of their religious foundations, or in all three......
as we can see those whose faith is in god, the large faction
of the GOP/MAGA party is heavily engaged in Evangelicalism.....
the other part is into either or both, guns and country as their faith.....

say, 40 to 50% of the country, believes in these faith based beliefs.....
basically IQ45 voters....

and how would one describe the other voters, the city and suburbs voters
who don't hold to god, country or guns beliefs?

this group is far more diverse in its set of beliefs.... the left
''tent'' is fairly large... there is a set in the left who hold to religious
belief.... this large group tends to hold to ''sermon on the mount''
type of values.... where love and tolerance are part of their key
value system... this group and most of the left, tend to be city/suburb
based... and this group believes in medicine, science, education,
rational thought, live and let live, tends to be their motto.....
this group tends to be far less concerned with religions, or country
or guns.... the 20% of the country that no longer holds to religions
or god, resides in this group....
again, another 40 to 50% of America.....

So, what separates the two groups? I believe that the dividing emotion
is fear....... the god, country and guns crowd is more fearful than
the left crowd.... and the base crowd of the right is very afraid...
they fear minorities and blacks, education, Obama, CRT, gays, the future,
cross dressing, change, science, reason, immigrants, democracy, women,
intelligence, books, technology, government and governmental institutions...

to name a few things the right is afraid of....... it is this fear that is the
major difference between the right and the left... the right is about
the negative and the left is more positive.....

listen to speeches by the right and the left, say Obama or Biden
as opposed to IQ45....IQ45 speeches, which are total mishmash of
various fears including his own quite irrational fear of wind....

IQ45 speeches are a dystopian list of conservative fears...
the inner city is falling apart, leftist thugs are destroying
cities, violence is everywhere...and no matter what,
you, the viewer is in danger... and all of this is clearly
fear mongering....and the dangers include the ''deep state''
and institutions like the FBI and IRS are a real and present threat
to America.....

Completely irrational fears have come to grip the conservatives in America....
and because the justice system had the gaul to convict their messiah,
they will go on the offensive against the justice system... attacking
the court system and the judges inside of it.....this attempt
to discredit and destroy another institution is quite typical
of the right...and then they will turn around and claim to
be the party of ''Law and Order"...

and all of this stems from their faith system, of god, country and guns....

Now given these set of ''facts'', what changes or possibilities
would I advocate for? and change is the name of the game.....
I am old and I have seen America itself change... the world
before Vietnam and Watergate is far different than the world
of 9/11 and far different than it is today..........

so, what changes do these advocates of god, country and guns advocate,
and what changes do the liberals advocate?

the modern day holder of the conservative values hold to far
more dramatic changes than the liberal does...... which
is a vastly different response than normal conservatives espouse....
for the conservative, usually, usually they don't want change at all,
and if change is needed, slow and steady change is called for.....
so, what does the conservative today calls for in terms of change?

Wholesale and dramatic changes... in both the social systems of
America and wholesale changes in the form and function of government.....

Today, the conservative wants to destroy the institutions of government,
the FBI, the IRS, THE ''DEEP STATE'' whatever that is....look at the
current proposals of the next IQ45 administration...... to remove
ALL civil service employees and replace them with acolytes of
IQ45....dismantling the FBI and Homeland security along with the
IRS, demolishing the federal education department and the department
of commerce... along with a massive increase in tariffs and taxes on
goods coming into this country.... with major tax cuts, which
of course, is for the wealthy.... screw the poor or middle class....
all of this is laid out in the Project 2025 program...

the conservatives want to have a massive and I do mean massive
reconstruction of the American government......
unlike the normal business as usual of slow, steady change that
the conservatives usually ask for.....

and therein lies the problem.... the conservatives have gone
so far out of their usual MO, that they are in very unfamiliar terrain.....
the path of the conservative is to conserve, that what is to be conserve
is the past, the traditional, what is familiar and known.....
to demand radical change as the modern day conservative have done,
is to suggest that today's conservative has done a 180 and is now
the radical in America..... and the liberals have become the
upholder of traditions in America today..... to hold to current
Institutions and formats have become the call of liberals...
unlike the past, where we called for change in institutions.....

it is a strange place in America today....... One I am not
used to or comfortable with.... but it is what it is......
