He can very well declare no bail pending the outcome of the appeal, along with ...

- assigning Trump lockup to a maximum security prison.
- denying Secret Service protection.
- having Trump put in leg irons and handcuffs on the spot, immediately after sentencing.
- anything else that pops into the judge's head.

There's nothing to stop him now that the Spirit of the Law has been corrupted into Anti-Federalism, which is the anti-constitutional bedrock of the trial and all the rotten fruit that followed.

Trump will be released from jail for his future trials where he be shackled and wearing an orange jumpsuit, walking stutter step between rows of photographers, head shaven, head held high and proud. That is, unless he gets so depressed that the story ends. Hyperbole? Perhaps, but there's nothing but approval to stop it. SCOTUS justices are human, they live in neighborhoods, the personal welfare of their families is undoubtedly a consideration in The Brave New World where the illegal intimidation of justices and their families at their homes is allowed by the Democrat Party.

The legal system can ony operate when the judge and jury are protected from violence and the threat of voilence from the accused.
