That’s not black face. Black face is black with white around the mouth. The fingers are a white person’s. The sleeve on the right arm is black mesh. Twist that if you want.
A wee bit thick are ye?

Fortunately for Trump, his black voters are dumb enough not to realize that he's actually insulting them by suggesting that they like him more now becuz of his mugshot and charges.

What's worse tho is that Trump doesn't feel like he's insulting them by saying that. His pompous bourgeois racist brain won't let him concieve of black people as anything more than low life criminals who'd be impressed by, relate to, and identify with other criminals.

Well, these attempts to express shock and horror so as to assume some sort of moral high ground have got to amuse anybody watching from the sidelines of this dog-and-pony show, nowadays.

What does it matter if he had said that? The incumbent, Biden, said that people who don't vote for him "ain't black," (nice attempt at ghetto slang, too). I don't recall hearing any Dem supporters do so much as bat an eye at that. 8)

I think it's at that moment that Leftists lost any plausibility in their expressions of moral outrage.

Bro u don't criticize a guy on your own team. Team republican and faux news took care of Biden on that one. They won't say a word about trump's comment, so we rely on team democrat and CNN for that.

 One of the things I find funniest about far too many Americans is that they seem to think that everybody in the entire world owes them to participate in their life-and-death struggle between Democrats and Republicans. It doesn't matter whether you live in Ghana, or Honduras, or Singapore...everybody's supposed to be on one of the two sides, and has to declare as if either matters to them. But it doesn't.

Your politicians are a rotten bunch. That's abundantly clear. Unfortunately, they also have a huge say about foreign wars...and that does concern me, as does their influence on the world economy and on the perpetuation of democracy and human rights.

So no, son, I don't have a "team." I'm not even in the "league" you imagine yourself to be playing in, politically speaking; I don't live in your country. So I just watch, and I call 'em as I see 'em. Trump, Biden, my only interest is that there be a strong and healthy America for the sake of us the larger world....well, and I happen to like America, too, so I'd hope they don't tank themselves, as they presently seem determined to do.

And what I see in the Leftist Dems is that they have no justification for thinking they're on any high ground at all. So I find their feigned moral outrage totally comic. They're absurdly dirty and dishonest in their own politicking -- just as many on the Repub. side, particularly the pro-war set, have also proved to be. It's the sanctimony, the false moral superiority, the pretense of sincere care for right and wrong that's really funny coming from the Left, though.

Did you ask any actual black people if they were 'deeply offended' by his joke? I'm guessing most would laugh.

I agree. I think most black folks, if they had a lick of sense, laughed uproariously at Biden, and shrugged off any such comment from Trump. But what is really hilarious is the feigned outrage and shock expressed by the Left...as if they'd never heard any such thing, and would never tolerate anybody saying anything insensitive about "people of colour."

They have. From their own guy. They didn't care a whit when he did it. Why would they care now?

I think I 'quoted' the wrong comment. I meant the Trump one. Biden is so uninteresting that it didn't register..

Clearly it isn’t the words that matter—it’s the person speaking. Re Trump and Biden, one is a bigot and the other is not.
