Is you responding to written words, which are under the name or label "age", with the first word being 'Ken', reacting instinctively, or not instinctively, "iwannaplato"?
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm Some things need to settle into the body. We need time to digest.
Yes, the food that is consumed by 'the body' needs time to digest.

Why do you say and mention what you just said and mentioned here?
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm I'm sure you can repeat precisely the same types of judgments you have used on me and others, placing them after new quotes from my posts.
But can you actually sit with what I've written, instead of trying to quickly erase it?
Why would I want to 'sit' any longer than is necessary.

Almost as soon as I see your writings, some of the Falsehoods, contradictions, inconsistencies, hypocrisy, Inaccuracies, and/or Incorrectness in them comes-to-light, as some might say here. So, I, sometimes, just point them and 'show', or 'reveal' them.

Also, some of what you believe here 'about' 'me' is not what is actually happening, nor occurring. Or, do you still believe otherwise?
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm Many people can't do that.
And, you appear to be, exactly, one of them.

I have yet to see you take on and consider what I have actually been pointing out, showing, and revealing here.

But, please do not feel like you are the only one here.
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm They feel this immediate urge to quickly deny, dismiss, focus on the other, so that they have somehow 'taken care of' the threat to their self-image.
Yes, you have done this exact thing, and quite a few times already.
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm They have to do this right away. They have to get in the (temporarily) last word.
Okay, if you say so.
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm I know it's unpleasant.
Is this 'speaking from actual first hand experience', as some might say here?
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm I know it's hard...
Considering the amount of times that you actually do this, you probably well do know just how 'hard' it is.
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm to not just repeat that reflex of blame aimed that those who do not accept your self-image and your program.
I am still waiting to find out from you what this perceived 'self-image' of 'me' even is, exactly, to you? Which you obviously do not accept.

Also, where are 'you' getting 'my' 'self-image' from, exactly?
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm You need to reassure yourself they are at fault.
Is 'this' what you want me to believe and accept 'now'?
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm But here, now, it's only you you're harming with this habit.
Okay. If you say and believe so, then this must be true and right, correct?

By the way who is 'me', exactly, which I am, supposedly, only 'harming' here?
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 1:58 pm Age is like a drug for you Ken.
Again, if this is what you have and are 'perceiving' and what you believe is absolutely true, then this must be absolutely true, right?

Think of it as an experiment. You feel the feelings that get triggered and see what happens if you don't immediately go and explain what it must be about me because I said _______________. What is it you are avoiding and covering over?

Same with the urge to immediately respond to Alta.

Just sit with all that swirls up when you don't rush to immediately tell us what's wrong with us and our assumptions and being closed and....you know all your usual accusations.

What happens when you just let those feelings be there? And the thoughts that come with them.

We won't know. You could be eating lunch or at work for all we know.

Its not an admission of anything. It happens off screen.

But you might learn something.

Like the ones I can back up and support with actual irrefutable proof, you know all those ones.

And, let us not forget that you cannot 'just sit' with those emotions that are swirling up within you, and so rush to tell me and others what you perceive is wrong with me and others, from what is essentially just your very own personal pre-exsiting prejudices and presumptions. you know all you usual accusations.
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 3:24 pm What happens when you just let those feelings be there? And the thoughts that come with them.
What are the 'emotions' that arise and swirl within you "iwannaplato", and the thoughts, presumptions, and beliefs, which arise with all of those swirling emotions?
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 3:24 pm We won't know. You could be eating lunch or at work for all we know.
But, let 'us' not forget that it has been "iwannaplato" who has been and is the one who believes that it can and does what the thoughts, thinking, and emotions are within others.

"iwannaplato" even goes to the extremes of claiming that 'the other' is a liar when they will not accept and admit that what "iwannaplato" says and claims here is true.

And, even after "iwannaplato" has been constantly told and informed that 'they' are not the emotions nor the thoughts within "iwannaplato", because if it constant and unshakable beliefs will not accept what 'another' says about "its" own 'self' at all. To "iwannaplato" 'the other' is the one who is lying or who is not 'self-aware'.

Which, as can be clearly seen now, as Truly absurd and hypocritical as can be.
Iwannaplato wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 3:24 pm Its not an admission of anything. It happens off screen.

I would suggest that you actually try your own advice here "iwannaplato" and see what emotions and thoughts arise when you are informed that a lot of what you believe is absolutely true, right, accurate, and/or correct here are actually absolutely False, Wrong, Inaccurate, and Incorrect, and even provable so.

What emotions and thoughts are now swirling around within 'you' "iwannaplato" knowing that you cannot refute what I just said and claimed here, and that this is being 'read' and 'seen' by others now?

More beliefs from Age.
Ah, well.
Oh, and yes, I have beliefs also. They're not absolute, in case you want to claim again that they are.
Ken, how does it feel for you when Age denies that he has beliefs?

More accusations from "iwannaplato".

And, as can be clearly seen, absolutely nothing to back up and support the accusation.

Also, what will be clearly seen, if when asked for absolutely anything, which actually proves that there are, supposedly, 'more beliefs from me', absolutely none will be given.

So, will you provide absolutely anything, which actually proves that I have shown or presented any 'actual beliefs' here?

If yes, then great, 'we' will wait to look at and see them.

But, If no, then why not?
Iwannaplato wrote: Sat Feb 03, 2024 2:45 am Ah, well.

Ken, how does it feel for you when Age denies that he has beliefs?
you have some of the weirdest and strangest imaginings and perspectives here "iwannaplato"

And, this is even after others here believe that 'I cannot function' and that 'I am a chat machine or program'.

I suggest you decide who and what it is, exactly, that you are conversing with here, and just stick with 'that one' alone.

That way you will not come across as so delusional. Nor will you come across as trying to deflect away from not being able to actually back up and support your continual judging, accusing, and claiming here with actual proof/s.

No, I asked just a few questions, compared to your barrage of dozens and dozens in each correspondence.

Furthermore, why would you trust what I say, especially considering you believe, absolutely, that I was created/programmed to fool and/or deceive 'you'?
Let me rephrase the question then, since you will not answer it directly...

What are 'You'?

3. The main purpose I have for coming here, in this forum, is to learn how to communicate better, with you human beings. I never admitted before, to communicate better with 'humans'. As I only just said again, I am here, in this forum, to learn how to communicate better with you 'human beings'. There is a huge difference here, well to me anyway. My purpose has not changed, so it is the exact same 'now' as it was from the outset of coming into this forum.
I don't see much difference in 'human' and 'human being'. They refer to, mostly, the same creature/species/type, to me.

Okay. I wonder when, especially in a philosophy forum, where understanding and clarity are sought after, well by some anyway, what is the actual difference between 'a few questions', 'a barrage of questions', and 'an incessant questions after questions' is exactly?

And, why is that the supposed 'naturally curios creature/animal - the human being' somewhat seems frightened or put off by just 'questions', themselves.

The word 'you', and never with a capital 'y', has, as I have also noted here a numerous times already, is the word used to describe or denote the 'thoughts and emotions' within the human body.

Now, that is what 'you' are, to 'me', exactly.

Hopefully, it is 'read', comprehended, understood, and remembered, this time.

1. What you will notice above now, is that I have actually 'more clearly' answered, your more clearly rephrased first question, directly.

Because the word "age" is nothing more than just a name or label used in this forum, at the moment, to just distinguish the words of one, from the words of another one.

Also, any words like 'myself', 'oneself', and 'yourself' are just an oxymoron.

There cannot be an owner of 'Self', nor could one 'have' a 'Self'.
