What is a ''supernatural intervention'' when it's at home..
Evolution, God made or an accident

Correct.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2023 8:46 amYou cannot KNOW the existence of a supernatural being that gives shape to nature.bahman wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2023 3:49 pm You cannot disprove the existence of a supernatural being that gives shape to nature. You cannot prove it either. Evolution is not a very precise practice. Even physics is not a very precise practice as things can be manipulated in digits that are beyond the precision of physics.
Incorrect.

I am arguing that it could exist. I am agnostic when it comes to the existence of God and many other things.
Re: Evolution, God made or an accident
"Supernatural" occurances have unknown natural causes.

Come on ... words have meaning. Get over it and deal with the meaning rather than the rearranging of words.you wrote:How can you know there are occurrences that are unknown? Who would know what is unknown?
When you don't know why something happens, but know that it does happen, then the cause is unknown.
For example, the cause of your ignorance is unknown to you, but you do know that it does happen.
Re: Evolution, God made or an accident
But why would you or anyone want to know why something happens, that you know happens, but can't know why it happens because you already know you'll never know...that is what I am trying to figure out.Walker wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2023 4:16 pmI wrote:"Supernatural" occurances have unknown natural causes.Come on ... words have meaning. Re: Evolution, God made or an accident
Begin with figuring out why you make huge assumptions like that, about who knows and who doesn't, about who will know and who will not know.
And as was already noted, you can also work on figuring out why you play with words rather than philosopize with meaning.
Re: Evolution, God made or an accident
The point is that you cannot have confirmed proof of the existence of God. In other words, all arguments against or in favor of the existence of God are invalid.
