You really should go back and read. I've spelled out all the refutations there.
What you're pointing to is a simple absurdity of subjectivist language. That's the least of the refutations of moral subjectivism. There are plenty more.
Happy reading.
Or are you afraid to? That would certainly explain why you haven't, so far. Maybe you don't want to know that moral subjectivism is absurd. Okay. You don't have to know.
Is morality objective or subjective?

So you've found it convenient to tell yourself that my only critique of subjectivism is over the word "imperative," and that, other than that, moral subjectivism is just fine and dandy...and you're trying to keep yourself from finding out there's a whole bunch of even better reasons to know that moral subjectivism is irrational.
Okay. I can't beat the strategy of willfully keeping yourself ignorant of the right arguments. If that's what you want to do, you can.
Or you could find out the arguments I've already abundantly laid out, and deal with some of them, instead.
It's up to you.

Are you seriously this stupid...Immanuel Can wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 2:54 pmI'm sorry...I can't be bothered with this sort of aimless prattle.
Carry on as you are.
Explain to me, how it is you think and believe that one solitary person alive on the planet could possibly know they exist? You said this remember?
You really do say the most absurd things don't you, and then when your absurdity is pointed out to you, you do your little usual trick, which is to run away from your own madness. Carry on, and keep calm, there is nowhere for you to hide.

Transparent. Not bothering.

I simply asked you to explain your deluded comment about how you believe a solitary single person living on this planet, can know they exist?
I've already explained why they cannot, but you dismissed it as aimless prattle, because you have a one sided argument when ever you converse with anyone on this forum, and I just happen to have come back to remind you, that's all you are, a one sided entity. Carry on, boxing with your own shadow, it's hilarious.

You've been on this forum for years, I've been on this forum for years, this thread has been around for years. You've written countless posts here mostly addressed to others, but we also already "debated" a few times here. Following all that, you say I must be thinking that the word "imperative" is your only attempt.Immanuel Can wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 3:22 pm Aha!An admission. You haven't read what I said, obviously.

Yet another admission that you have nothing other than sophistry. Enough with the admissions already. We GET IT.
Of course you don't have anything else, you're an objectivist. Well duh

Who is the 'us', you and IC? If you're his sidekick now then go on, show what he never can.
