Unfortunately my natural empathy and humanity will probably get in the way of any enjoyment of the delicious irony, but at least the thought of it can give a certain amount of relief at this point in time...

Funny how you have never once commented on all the atrocities your country has done and continues to do in the Middle East.

I's not remotely funny, no, but it is a mahoosive deflection away from the topic of the unconfirmed status of the reports of infant beheadings.

By all means start a thread on all the atrocities my country has done and continues to do in the Middle East, and I'll add my comments.

I've written about it over and over again. I've already pointed out that it's apparently ok to murder children as long as they aren't actually being beheaded. Gassing is so much better, don't you think? What more do you want from me?

Those are some worthy observations. I struggle to image what or who *they* are. For those who are so far outside of the operations of the *system* we can only rely on third-party accounts. And then what we expose ourselves to -- for interpretation -- often seems to depend on our inner orientation. Once the speculation and imagination machine gets cranked up it is capable of coming to really strange conclusions.

There is an interesting book I read awhile back: A Culture of Conspiracy: Apocalyptic Visions in Contemporary America [2003, University of California] by Michael Barkun. The blurb is worth quoting:

What all this makes me think is, as I say, that we see through *darkened glass* but also that we color things with the colors of our own minds.

Nah, I think that's probably just another of *their* manipulations. *They* are intentionally flooding the Western world, especially the US with all kinds of batshit crazy conspiracy theories like Flat Earth, reptilians, aliens and so on. In order to hide the real conspiracies like 9/11 or the partially faked Moon landings (not sure about this one).

And it works. It especially caters to people who are of somewhat above average intelligence, which I find quite insidious. They are smart, but not smart enough, to realize that they are being manipulated into thinking that they are now soo effing wise to brand ALL conspiracy theories as equally insane.
