Free Speech
As with other such fundamentalist phrases – there is no such thing as absolute free speech, in any category of ethical society.
But, if we pretend to live in a responsibly-altruist democracy, then no person or group or faction, should be denied a public platform.
The only conditions being that he speaks legibly, and rationally, and does not go beyond criticism of others to the point of defamatory ranting and vulgar language.
Books and other publications should be respected as expressions of their time.
We must be able to read them today as adults able to understand their context.
It is peurile and dangerous to rewrite books to suit the vanities of the present day – and then again at a future day.
Should we do so and fall into the tyrants and bigots trap and cease to be altruist?
If so then we may rewrite Chaucer, Shakespeare, Dickens, the Koran, Old Testament, New Testament, and all else so that the citizenry are robbed of their critical minds.

What 'you' are REALLY SAYING here is that IF there is 'FREE SPEECH', then 'IT' is CONDITIONED UPON the 'conditions' AND 'rules' I SAY and PROPOSE here, right?
