Shame, did you lose control of your narrative? Would you like a troll-snack?

Skepdick is a bee fart counting wanker
Anyway, back to the point:
Well, Skepdick and I were discussing how much evidence it would take for both of us to formulate a belief. I admitted that I don't have a particular weight of balance that causes me to believe one way or another. Skepdick then claimed that his decision making is so accurate that a shift of one sextillionth from 50/50 is enough for him to make his mind up. This is a claim so preposterous that I compared it to Skepdick being knocked off the fence by a bee fart at 40 paces. This is the actual moment:commonsense wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 2:01 pmI’m getting dizzy, reviewing the thread to find out what the significance of the bee fart analogy is. Would anyone care to explain it for me?promethean75 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 1:54 pm I think the volume of flatulence would be much different between bee species due to their varying sizes. Are we talking about a bumblebee or like a smaller yellow jacket?
Skepdick has confirmed his claim:Will Bouwman wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 1:54 pmBut a bumble bee's fart at 40 paces is enough to blow you off.
Presumably realising just how ridiculous that makes him, he has since been trying to claim that a bee fart is relative but, naturally, only a bee fart counting wanker, who lives in his mum's basement knows enough about maths to understand that some bee farts are truly spectacular:
If that sort of bollocks fools you, then you are free to believe that Skepdick has supernatural counting skills, and I'm just a dumb philosopher.

Shame, he doesn't even understand why a shift of one sextillionth is the "magic number".Will Bouwman wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2023 12:14 pm Well, Skepdick and I were discussing how much evidence it would take for both of us to formulate a belief. One universe (I'm letting him off the hook about the fine-tuning parameters)
2 trillion planets (that we know of)
13.8 billion years of evolution
(AT LEAST) 27 sextillionth Earth years of the universe doing what it does for us to be right here right now.
And he equates that with a bee fart.
I can only explain it for you. I can't understand it for you.
