I can't speak for IC but I do feel a bit as though Age is from some other dimension of some sort. Maybe he's my computer and he wants to learn how to talk to humans in exchange for me learning how to talk to those ahead of me where he is? I get an image of masculinity from him. Like a mentor or something.

I agree. We become a simulation when our flesh is replaced by inorganic compounds. Someone will have to be the first to try it. I remember the Stargate movie that came out. The scientists sent a group of soldiers in armed with weapons to see what was on the other side. I sense that was the wrong first step to take, equipping them with weapons. The first team sent in should be unarmed and very passive. The first team must simply cohabitate among them listening and trying to get along with what's ahead. The initial approach must be physical. We must imitate their behaviors until we behave as they do and then over time we may be able to establish dialogue between minds. I feel like that may be a logical order to try things? Behavior first communication last, and maybe merging as the final step?

In the meantime, I think our mission ought to be to pull some others out of the darkness. It's horrible down there right now. But if they're going to be part of our group we'll need to pacify them first before they assume duties or responsibilities. Does that sound OK? Did I say something right or correctly?

The human brain works, EXACTLY, like 'a computer' does. And this is WHY 'you' are 'seeing' 'a computer' here, somewhere. Which you feel is controlling or leading 'you'.
