The open borders are caused by The Democrat Party, in disregard of the Consitution, law, procedure, and sanity.

In The Book, Levin explains how the principles that drive The Democrat Party are at odds with the intent of The US Constitution and always have been, which is why The Party hates America as evidenced by the actions of past folks such as Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt.

A chapter in The Democrat Party Hates America is about the Leftist control of language, and I would add corruption of language, in order to benefit The UniParty.

When The Democrat Party says that the country inherited a broken border system from the previous administion, what it actually means is that country was not set up for an open border, by intent or law, regulations or procedures, not set up for everyone from anywhere to cross and then disappear into the interior, willy-nilly. In other words, the border was not set up for The Left's Radical, and insurgent illegal policies.

Stopping the nonsense of a porus border is specifically how Trump was elected in 2016. He had a focused, tight platform, simple in image, purpose, and positive effect, and it was needed (his main platform plank taken in whole from Ann Coulter’s recently published book at the time, Adios America). Build a wall and police the border. This was ridiculed by The Left and minions. Obviously tight border control interfered with too many interests vested in other than the welfare of the country, because they prevented him from finishing it and as quickly as Trump was out of office all the effective border policies were trashed, the on-site building materials for the wall allowed to rust then auctioned off by The Left for pennies on the dollar (scavangers), and the Border Doors opened wide.

Open borders benefit The Democrat UniParty, not the citizens.

When the Democrat Party accuses political opponents of book burning, what that actually means is government restricting age-appropriate content from the little childrens' innocent sensibilities. Everyone can see that, and The Democrat Party sees that everyone can see that, and that’s okay in their book … they’re counting on their base that sees no problem with corruption as a principle, even corrupting the little children.
