Furthermore the conspiracy you cite is absurd, involving beings who are able to lie simultaneously about both being and not being socialists. So they exist beyond the laws of conventional reason in some twilight zone where there is no excluded middle.

Well these are rather ambiguous claims indeed. How does a socialist live? Is your model someone who doesn't live in a socialism but likes socialism so lives like a person who likes socialism while living in some society other than socialist? If so, what might that be, the 'living like'? What would i do differently if i were this guy? Like if this guy were ever out in public with his friends and he did something that required him to announce to a confused and surprised group of friends 'becuz I'm a socialist, that's why i did it', what would that thing be? What could he do that would make any third party observers say 'yup, he's a goddamn socialist'.
And for the eleventh time there hasn't ever been a Marxist socialism (one existed for approximately 47 minutes back in 1917), so how one might live in one remains much of a mystery.
But the phrase 'socialist elite' is like an oxymoron so that second part doesn't make any sense either.
In a socialism, there would be no elite, therefore nancy couldn't be one. And if she was one, she'd have to not be in a socialism.
And that's not even right either becuz there are always elite, better talented and skilled at x, or more awarded with honors, etc. Socialism isn't about 'equality' and it certainly recognizes merit and talent.
