Standing alone

Post by Gary Childress »

I'm looking for monsters to destroy. And apparently, I've become one. However, to be honest, I never got along very well with others around me to begin with. I'm a hermit. I'm staying a hermit. It's like perpetual hide and seek.

Now I know how this kid feels:

WHY?

By the way, the ONLY 'monsters', 'demons', or 'devil' that REALLY exists IS existing WITHIN 'that body', in form of BAD, False, Wrong, or Incorrect 'thinking'.

So, ridding "one's" 'self' of 'that thinking', or DESTROYING 'that DEVIL', means that there are NO OTHER 'monsters' to destroy.

Now, what OTHER BAD, False, Wrong, or Incorrect 'thinking' that is WITHIN OTHER 'bodies' is up to some one "else" TO destroy. Sure, 'you' could HELP and GUIDE, but 'you' can NOT DO 'that' FOR 'them'.

WHO IS 'this' 'I', which has, supposedly, become a 'monster'?

AND, WHY do 'you' even 'think' that 'you' have become a 'monster'?

By the way, did 'you' NOTICE the 'think' were 'there'?

SEE, it IS the BAD, False, Wrong, AND Incorrect 'thinking' that is TELLING 'you' that 'you' have become a 'monster'. In other words, it IS 'the monster', itself, 'TRYING TO' TELL 'you' that 'you' ARE a 'monster'. Or, in even OTHER words, 'that' IS 'the devil', itself, 'TRYING TO' FOOL and DECEIVE 'you' into BELIEVE some 'thing' that 'you' ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT.

But, only earlier on today 'you' were relaying a story about 'a friend' of yours that 'you' visit and have discussions WITH.

From what I was PREVIOUSLY AWARE of a 'hermit' does NOT interact WITH NOR relate WITH OTHER people. But maybe you HAVE and USE a DIFFERENT definition for the 'hermit' word that I am YET AWARE OF.

A good question, which made me think, and then become CONSCIOUSLY AWARE of thee One who is ALWAYS WATCHING, and OBSERVING, 'you'.

Which could have been worded, WATCHING OVER 'you', BUT some people MISINTERPRET that phrase and term all to EASILY. Just like they CAN and DO with ALL of the OTHER, YET CLARIFIED, phrases and terms.

Everyone else is alone in their own aloneness. You are not alone in your aloneness. You are alone and never not alone, is the divine paradox.

We are born alone, live alone, and die alone.

No one can ever know or be another, everyone has access only to themself alone. In reality, there is only one of us here, and that's the cold, harsh truth of reality, that some people perhaps fear to face.

But once this faceless face is faced and fully surrendered to, and unconditionally accepted as unavoidably you, what else could possibly be sweeter than your own solitude?

If by a miracle you meet someone you love and who loves you. Then that could possibly be sweeter than your own solitude, for there would be two of you in sweet solitude together.
