Re: The American Republic has Ended, What Next?
Don T. is like charlie manson now kinda. Charlie never kilt anyone (not what he was charged for, anyway) but was sentenced for 'conspiring' to kill someone... just like Don T. never interfered with or commited fraud against America but was charged for conspiring to.
Look man just becuz a president doesn't believe the election results and SAYS something like 'we need to be strong and take our country back and march on the capitol' or 'hey i need u to find eleven thousand more votes', doesn't mean he's necessarily responsible for anything that follows that might be illegal... like a thousand rednecks in Carhartt overalls busting through the doors of the capitol.
Don T. issued no formal command to anyone and even if he did, it can't be counted seriously becuz the prez doesn't have the power to command the American people to march on anything. In this case Don T.'s crime is no more technically henious than some average Joe yelling at a few people on the street about Armageddon and the need to stand together. We don't take that guy seriously and neither should Don T. be taken seriously. At least not concerning the jan 6 business.
This is just angry leftists tryna get revenge on pompous rich white guys.

Tex Watson was the real psychopath and villain there, along with those pathetic handmaiden shit-head nasty hangers-on. Why would Manson be responsible for their actions? It was unjust then and it's still unjust now.promethean75 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 9:37 pm Don T. is like charlie manson now kinda. That's unfair. You're expectations would be reasonable if these kids were thirty or more but they were all too young, impressionable and intellectually immature in the worst way when that shit happened. u can't be a psychopath at that age either. An asshole maybe, but not a psychopath. Not yet. Now imagine if squeaky and atkins and all them never killed anyone and fast forward to say 1975. Do u think they would have grown out of charlie by then and took up living a normal life without taking lsd every day and having sex with C chord playing drifters with fake leather indian vests on at ranches in the California desert? That could be kinda hot tho.
The point is, that 'phase' of those people's lives happened to involve the kinds of circumstances that make people temporarily irrational where, without certain forces, they would have otherwise made more rational decisions. So, it isn't intrinsic to the people to be psychotic like that, not characteristic of them except in very unique conditions... which Charlie's unrequited buffoonery created for them.

Bollocks. Your 'logic' is too annoying to be bothered with. I have better things to do.

Re: The American Republic has Ended, What Next?
Oh but i am in prison of sorts becuz I'm serving a life sentence, being condemned to the registry for life, as it were. This is some pretty philosophically heavy shit even for the poor fucks who ARE guilty of the crimes that got them on it. John Locke would have a hard time if he knew what the american courts were doing bruh. But for the one's who technically aren't guilty and were hustled by the system, well that's on some Dostoevsky or Kafka level shit right there homes. Like u'ont even have the aptitude to fully grasp the gravity of what has happened... not just wit me but wit hundreds more like me.
I think you're on some shit like u think just becuz u believe whatever crime i commited is worthy of prison, society's courts can break their own rules and principles in the criminal prosecution process becuz you'd throw me in prison yourself. Naw bruh it don't work like that.
You CAN have your opinion and your disgust (as misguided as it may be)... i ain't even sayin u shouldn't. What I'm sayin is despite that, what happened was not what should have happened if the parties involved practiced their professional roles properly. That's the spade u are missing einstein.
Now, what u can do is refuse to condone the courts as well as me... but u can't be like 'u are not a very unfortunate fuck who should be very angry and disappointed at whatever is the cause of this ill-fated travesty called your life'.
See that's all that matters. U are entitled to your judgements (how can one not be?), but u absolutely must be able to recognize just what a fuckin disaster has happened on account of a few incompetent people fucking up or purposely abusing prosecutorial power. I only want u to see me as proof for the absurdity of this godless existence. Forget about your life it doesn't mean anything. U gotta consider only my life. Imma black swan event veg. You're like a grey Canadian goose event.
Wait i have an idea for a fun exercise u can do. Do u know exactly what a plea bargain is? Okay cool. Now in your own words, in what way, if any, could the plea bargain process be construed by some to be unethical, unfair or even unconstitutional?
Take your time. I'm here like every day.

Re: The American Republic has Ended, What Next?
Ah here's a good way to explain it maybe.
There happens a kind of inadvertent and unintentional contradiction deep in the network of reasonings that constitute the 'position' you'd be in regarding me, veg.
U could hold personal convictions that whatever happened was worthy of prison, but would not be able to assert the primacy and importance of the democratic process in establishing laws since if the law were properly practiced (as defined by the democratic process of legislation), i wouldn't be in prison now for what i actually did. Hey I'm just saying the LAW says I wouldn't be in prison if everything were done right. See wuddum sayin? Your opinion is in direct conflict with the opinion of the courts.
So u must be an anti-democratic moral relativist de facto, which then means u can't possibly comdemn me for being at war with the state, see.
U can call me a perv but your critique must end there... but you can't not call me a lone wolf antihero renegade martyr type who ends in tragic injustice and death and then is resurrected in Valhalla.

Your memory is so short.Wizard22 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 11:11 am There is, was, and always will be corruption when it comes to government, politicians, rulership, and the like.
However there are degrees to which corruption is tolerable and moderate, versus intolerable and excessive.
I believe, as of now, the fallen American Republic has finally and fatally crossed that line.
Western "Democracy" is no different than "Democracy" in North Korea, where Kim Jong Un receives 100% of the "vote" there.
American Democrats should be ashamed of themselves...but that implies they aren't irresponsible, tyrannical, and ignorant of what they've done.

The dumb fuck Trumplicans are in a state of deep cognitive dissonance.
What we see in these indictments, is a real chance for the law to work.
If the legal system cannot convict a rich person - who is quite obvisouly and blatantly GUILTY as hell, then that is the moment the Republic ends and becomes an ochlocracy.
SO you all better hope that Trump's arse is thrown in gaol, and the 14th ammendment comes into play otherwise the US is finished.
