That song Ship Of Fools is the prolly the most horrible song I've heard in a week and I hear a lotta horrible songs becuz i listen to the radio (when it's used to play music between commercials).

Question. Is there a link between christians and horrible music. Are they predisposed to lack the ability for the aesthetic judgements that would otherwise enable them to identify good music from bad music.

Discuss.

... with the exception of Stryper obviously. But this is like a black swan event in Christian music so the general rule would still stand.

Yeah, all Christians listen to the same shite Prom!

Look closely, listen closely - the song came out in the early 90s

This particular lyric pay attention to :- "ALL IS KNOWN" - cos it fucking is.

Please god make it stop.

Johnny has my attention not becuz of his music but becuz of what a cliche he is. But he's an archetype of the cliche he represents, see. In Johnny a whole series of things fall into perfect union to create an ideal character for the type. The dark country boy. A lone rockabilly with a death wish, hard and sunburnt from experience, from workin for the man, from heroin, from life on the run and on the prison yard. Grampa Johnny tells us a story and his voice is old, wise, but shaken, the voice of a man who's experienced hardship before people, himself and the lord, etc. A sullen man who knows tragedy, who's been in that ring of fire

u see how he's like a demigod for country boys in the same way Morrison was for the hippy-emos. He's like a redneck mystic ghost rider with a guitar he knows three chords on.

Uh oh i recovered an old video I thought was lost so u know what that means. Greatest Hits time. If i could ever be characterized as being in a 'prime' period, it would be this period around 27ish. But i don't mean to say I'm a prime guitar player... just that from this point it was all downhill and less playing. Thus it would be literally the highest point in my playing, hence the prime period.

But I'm just tryna fret tap in an improv that i haven't planned so i end up spontaneously switching time and shit without knowing what I'm gonna do. I do remember being immensely stoned but certainly satisfied with the brief session as it transpired.

Rise is one you'd play at the end of the night at studio 54 when everybody's run out of coke and it's time to wrap it up.

Here's another recording of some acoustic fret tapping but this one is cool becuz i recorded two separate guitar tracks and then merged them together at points to produce that weird effect. It was some software can't remember what but it was on my homeboy's computer. Coulda gone places with that software but never messed with it again after this little experiment.

If u could hear the sound of worker bees giving directions to the other bees after returning from a pollen source, it would sound sometimes like that I think. The dance they do.
