If it does, it's defective. And very very very few are defective. Also do they have UV rated glass types. And how good they look is a trim issue, not inherent to the windows basic design. Nothing special about Anderson's window design unless you're getting something custom made. Only difference is that fiber material looks like hard wood... but the frame is the same, see. You'cn take a vinyl window and deck it out inside with three piece trim just like u could set an Anderson window, nail four pieces of some fuckin standard casing around it and make it look like shit.

And no vinyl windows don't warp. They are solid constructions with thick vinyl pieces that have no flexibility. If u install it right and seal everything right, you'd have to live in death valley to worry about it warping.

I see the same problems with wooden wondows everytime i replace one. They get cocked and out of square as the house settles and u struggle to open it... they get painted shut... the sills start rotting from the outside in becuz of water settling in the fucked up spots that don't shed rainwater right. The track spring pops and one of the sashes won't stay open. The paint starts peeling outside so u rub some caulk on it becuz u don't wanna paint it and over the years it just gets uglier and uglier. There are a handful of reasons why people prefer vinyl wondows over costly faux wooden wondows by Anderson, too. You're just an exception who's properly maintained their home's wondows, Ann.
