Haven't what? Theism didn't make sense to me, so I gave it up long ago.

We've had this conversation before where you basically clearly have a belief in the concept of pantheism\panentheism but don't like to ascribe the term "God" to it because of the religious connotations that can draw. That's fine, wo/man's religion doesn't have to come into the equation, but you are a theist.

To comprehend evidence of God, yes.

Really? Well, there are lots of great, deep thinkers that see no evidence of God. Don't fool yourself into thinking that 'thinking' is the same as awareness. The human mind is full of convoluted self-serving beliefs and 'facts' -- we can see that everywhere in our world. People thinking and believing all kinds of preposterous stuff, which they all claim is 'deep' and 'true'.

In my experience -- at uniquely pivotal times -- awareness and clarity come when we get our 'thinking' out of the way. Set aside the ego and preconceptions and see and listen free of the mental 'noise'. Some may perceive insight and direction as coming from a god. Others may perceive insight and direction as a natural flow we can step into. There is surely no specific experience or path we must all have or follow.

I believe I already explained this. Try to listen now. For me, 'all is energy'... and there is no god. I added the phrase 'God is energy' to speak to those who believe in a god. The same way you might use a word (or language) that others use, in order to make a point that they can relate to.
