Just finished watching 'Get Back'. WOW. I never knew such footage of the Beatles existed, and now with the technology to see it as if it was filmed yesterday. Imagine seeing George Harrison in the process of creating 'Something', or Ringo struggling to come up with more words for 'Octopus' Garden'.
There is so much 'history as it's happening' it's quite overwhelming.
''..attracts me like a cauliflower'. Wonderful. The creativity and musicality is mind boggling, especially as Yoko Ono seems to be stuck to John Lennon with super glue and makes a horrible, unearthly screeching noise every now and then.
I wonder if the mean-spirited bobbies are still alive who were trying to stop the rooftop concert. The pompous twit in the hat who complained definitely wouldn't be.
