And some moronic individuals want to shame anybody who doesn't agree with their own simplistic view by childishy calling them names like, "wokie".

Lol, you already told us you go to 4chan pol for yourt news here...Wizard22 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 10:04 amI haven't read Breitbart or Stormfront, so you're the expert on those.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 10:01 amThat's not what I said. Breitbart isn't a reputable or reliable source of information by ANY standard. It's full of bullshit.
So what's on the front page of 4chan pol right now? So you definitely know what to expect from stormfront.
Re: Racism
There's plenty of pro-Semites, philo-Semites on /pol/, so you're lying as per usual pooeypants.FlashDangerpants wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 10:46 amSo what's on the front page of 4chan pol right now?
It's one of the few places available to receive unbiased, or biased toward the other side, information about the Ukraine war, or the French riots.
Now go back to Reddit or CNN or whatever Western garbage propaganda you use...
Re: Racism
What I like about 4chan /pol/ is that it's a free-for-all for global information.
The Far-Left has no control over it, nor does the Far-Right. The only reason somebody thinks "the Far-Right controls it", is because that's the sway and direction of political correctness. So it's an indictment against what's popularly accepted as true prima facie.
Just because morons posit Flat Earth claims, doesn't mean "Flat Earthers" represent /pol/. You'd have to be a moron (like poopypants here), to believe that.

Re: Racism
Except the globohomo conspiracy theorists are, you know, complaining about Jews, on 4chan and stormfront and other places where nazis hang out... And there's only one person peddling that particular theory here...Wizard22 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 11:47 am What I like about 4chan /pol/ is that it's a free-for-all for global information.

Re: Racism
Before the accusations are brought out it is better to start by saying “there are problems”. I know a bit of your politics and yes you do come across as dealing in all the terms of accusation and blame and guilt wielding of the do-called “Woke”. But a better term is “hyper-liberal”. But you do have your enemy and you also give it names. “Far right, Extreme right”, etc.
Brietbart is slightly or somewhat edgy in that sense but more sensationalist right of center. The term “Far Right” is assigned to it but that is Left/Progressive hyperbole, the purpose of which is to denigrate. You started a thread about racism using an article culled from the far right race baiting web site that promoted stories about caravans of brown invaders at the US southern border, and that promotes racist conspiracy theories about white people being replaced with brown people to make a more docile electorate.
Brietbart is a non-intellectual platform and unlike a “genuine” Right/Conservative educational site like Counter-Currents (Greg Johnson et al).
And for a bizarre (but admirably “liberal” i.e. inclusive of all site see Unz Review.
The two last named are many times more “dangerous” since they not only disassemble “false narratives” but present alternative stances backed by intellectual positions available in the wide array of books they publish.
Woke = influenced by Critical Theory, a praxis for largely Marxist-influenced progressive activists. A far fuller definition of “Woke” exists. Ultra-activist Marxist praxis and its “operatives” are everywhere today. James Lindsay does an admirable job defining what these terms mean and where the ideology derives. In that thread you used the 'woke' dog whistle in the OP, and with that you summoned one holocaust denier who promotes racial seperatism and that weird little nazi who just hates jews and black folk, to join you to complain about wokies being mean to racists.
I am the (your term) Holocaust denier (whose position is that the history is largely accurate with some “minor” discrepancies). That, for you, became your angle of attack and you availed yourself of all the tricks in the book of deviousness to denigrate me. That is how you-plural set things up. I let you because I don’t bother to construct defenses against false accusation.
So in this sense, yes, you are part of the problem. But so many are complicit, on all sides.
I “promote” nothing. I endeavor to read and study the written material (close, first hand readings) of those who articulate dissident opinions shunned in nearly all highly censored platforms. But I have done that on all sides (having read about 8 Chomsky titles).
To have genuine discussion is very different from promotion.
You OTOH are profoundly committed to promotion of your ideological and political stances. You seem “driven” by your commitments.

Re: Racism
It can be used way too loosely, unfortunately. But people always avail themselves of easy labels that they can use against opponents.
Wokeness must be defined. It refers to those deeply or shallowly influenced by Critical Theory. To understand CT requires about a day. But a week would be better.
Re: Racism
Nice cherry-picking, moshe, maybe I'll bother myself to show a bunch of far-leftist, socialist, marxist 4chan posts tomorrow to prove how absolutely dumb you are?FlashDangerpants wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 12:12 pmAnd there's only one person peddling that particular theory here...

Re: Racism
I would phrase this differently. It is largely unreliable and sensationalist but by certain standards accurate information can be gleaned. It is not a site that would help one “educate” oneself however.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 10:01 am That's not what I said. You OTOH are profoundly committed to promotion of your ideological and political stances. You seem “driven” by your commitments.
The main thing you need to do is Be offended, react with blanket Accusations, hope something sticks, and then repeat Ad Homs until threads derail or become toxic to the point nobody wants to participate.
All one needs to do is look at the regression of this thread, and how the Wokies steer violently away from Rational discussion of something like 'Racism', and especially it's 'prevention', because they don't want to have the rational dialogue in the first place. The smarter Lefties know this, because they tend to lose the rational/logical debate. Their own positions are untenable. For example, Liberalism has been in power proficiently in the West for a long time now...where's the Healthcare, where's the non-violence, where's the Anti-war position, where's the Environmentalism? Nowhere! They make excuses, to the point where there's no recourse left.
Therefore, it is likely not about what they claim, but rather about political-power in and of itself. Then it makes more rational sense.
This is why, as I stated, it's not about "getting rid of racism" per se. It's about enjoying the benefit of Racism yourself, while depriving it from your political opposition.
Now watch the wokies grab the steering wheel, again, and again, and again, to derail the point...

Globohomo is a marvellous term. It is ironic, clever and poignant. But it does require a serious definition. Happy to oblige if asked …
