Don't be mean spirited, Alexis. All he asks is that you bring your influence to bear on Mr. Putin. What harm could it do?

I'm sure that once Putin realises how much this war is upsetting Gary, he'll pull out of Ukraine quicker than you can say potato harvest.Alexis Jacobi wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 4:38 pmLook, I'll try. But what guarantees could I possibly make?

My being "upset" is not of importance right now. Horrible death and destruction is what is important. It must be stopped for the good of ALL. The war in Ukraine has brought me to realize how horribly the US has engaged in evil. My leaders will have to account for the evil they do and have done, the same way that Putin will have to account for the evil he is responsible for. I do not wish to see Putin face the full consequences of his decisions. It will be worse than death for him, believe me. I have never physically attacked anyone, however, a conscience will come to life when one meets the inevitable and it will be HORROR. IT WILL BE HORROR FOR PUTIN. He must stop. We must all stop!Harbal wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 4:46 pmI'm sure that once Putin realises how much this war is upsetting Gary, he'll pull out of Ukraine quicker than you can say potato harvest.Alexis Jacobi wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 4:38 pmLook, I'll try. The sooner Putin backs off the less horror he will go through when the inevitable comes. That is all I can say. AJ/Putin you need to stop the war and start negotiations. You know my (US) leaders have done evil. They are therefore in NO position to judge you. You can pass that message to Putin and Putin can doggedly resist the hypocrisy of the US leaders. REMEMBER WHAT PUTIN SAID OF BIDEN'S ACCUSATION THAT PUTIN IS A "KILLER". "IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE. PUTIN IS RIGHT.

K: and here we hit one of my "pet peeves" we can compare and contrast
Putin as a killer given what he has done, both in the past and today...
mind you, Putin is wanted by the Hague as a war criminal....as one
who committed crimes against humanity..
but now Gary claims that Biden is the same as Putin...a killer...
we can compare and contrast Putin past actions with other
world leaders or some ethical/moral theory....ok,
great, so what comparison or contrasting are you doing
with Biden that makes him the "same" as Putin...
what crimes against humanity has Biden done? In
other words, Gary has made a statement without
any sort of comparison or contrasting that makes
his statement, true.... he claims that Biden is a
"killer" fine, where is your proof or evidence?
whereas I can give you a multitude of evidence
that Putin is a killer, stone cold killer, so where
is evidence that Biden is also a killer?

Re: the problem of philosophy for us...
I am not talking about Biden specifically, I am talking about the leadership that got us into the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. People died in those wars. People suffered. There are veterans among my own countrymen and women who have suffered trauma they may never get out of thanks to what my leaders put them through. Putin is doing the same thing to his people. He needs to know that and the US (my own country) is in no position to judge Putin harshly. It's better for everyone to just lay down the urge to kill each other and come to a realization of what truly needs to be done. We need to address the ecological damage being wrecked upon the Earth by human activity. Also, better communication between countries, cooperation, and sharing of knowledge will help those in the world who need help the most. Sharing of knowledge cannot take place appropriately when it is knowledge of how to kill or destroy or create conflict.Peter Kropotkin wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 5:39 pmGary Childress wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 5:20 pm The sooner Putin backs off the less horror he will go through when the inevitable comes. Read Philosophy Now and the back issue are wonderfully informational. Thank-you as the evidence discourse and the rhetoric is very persuasive, in-depth reading of serendipity. Thank-you is all I can write. People infer and statements imply.
is authentic and supports its thesis with reasoning to the conclusion. Thank-you because the more I learn, the less I know. I have learned that knowledge is not a well-behaved concept; the verb to know is guided by inconsistent principles. What is reasonable to believe. Thank-you for all you have done to Enlighten my thinking and learning that, "I know, I know nothing."Philosophy Now
