If I asked you to express to me on a scale of 1 dot to 4 dots how much you want me to touch you right now, what would you reply?

Re: Ask me a question:
For starters, if an interviewer reached out to shake my hand, I would ask why s/he was shaking my hand. It could be that the interviewer is offering me the job or it could be that the interviewer thinks I'm not a good fit for the job and just wants to wish me well and acknowledge our shared purpose.

Re: Ask me a question:
"Then don't "reason like a fascist". Reason like a human being or whatever the metaphysical or linguistic equivalent of that word is to you. OR just be reasonable."
well there's only one kind of war that could be explained as a 'greater good' situation where the end justified the means, and that's a genuine Marxist type revolution... not that fake ass shit that went down in russia and china and cuba and all them.
now in the future if there is some such radical world marxist revolution - the war to end all wars - the planet would remain militarized and weapons tech will continue to be developed so that we're prepared for any alien invasions. which we hope would happen so we can get some action once in a while. Becuz goddamn sometimes u wanna just shoot some shit.
but humans warring against humans will be old news. at best you'd have something like virtual-reality based robot warfare competitions for rewards or whatever, but no real wars. it would be like a sport that simulated war iow.

It would be like an RPG of an RPG. Siriusly it would be popular af. When u weren't at work doing whatever it is u do (not for long cuz workdays r cut into thirds), u might be playing a solider in one of the virtual wars that's been going on for three months.
There'd be a small buy-in and the rewards would be significant for whoever wuz a skilled player.

Re: Ask me a question:
If I was interviewing you, and you asked me why I was shaking hands, I would say it's an accepted, appropriate, and customary greeting and farewell-until-we-again, that is unless you're a cop in which a handshake could be construed as a conspiracy or an invitation to a physical assault. I would also wonder at your navieté but probably not mention it other than to ask about your background to detect any other evidence of cultural ignorance.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 1:42 pm For starters, if an interviewer reached out to shake my hand, I would ask why s/he was shaking my hand. "Naivete" and lack of trust in others can sometimes appear similar. Either way, you might go without shaking the hand of someone in front of you.
