I did. The song just says, "What is love, baby don't hurt me". It doesn't seem particularly funny to me.

It's OK, IC. You didn't do anything wrong. I just don't have much of a sense of humor anymore. I went to my best friend's wedding years ago and the photographer there got put off by me not having a toothy grin over my best friend getting married. So I did my best to have a toothy grin. My lips were quivering the whole time as I tried to force them to do something they didn't want to do. I'm sorry I didn't find your joke funny or amusing. It's not your fault.

If it were me, I would have said something like "no worries, Gary, it doesn't have to" or something like that. Therefore my impression is that you are disappointed with my honest reply. I apologize if there is or was any confusion on my part.
