Let's not do that. I'll stop posting about my private life if the world can at least stop what's going on in Ukraine and bring about a fair and peaceful resolution. Of course, Putin is more than a little responsible for the trigger he's pulling. But Washington D.C. hasn't exactly been "sane" by some standards either. It's a mess to untangle for sure.
Communicating truth is a filthy job but someone has to do it.

Reality is nondual., it’s totally impersonal and unconditionally free to be, and can’t be any other way.

Your not wearing blinders, you only think you are. You seem like a really decent intelligent person to me anyway. Perhaps you’re just simply misunderstood by others and you’ve turned that in on yourself blaming yourself which you are innocent of in my opinion.

So as I said please keep on topic. I’m self moderating this thread since I created it. Therefore I’m responsible for directing it the way I think it should go.

Thanks for your understanding 🙏

No, I’m cool . . .

I’ve sent Colombian jumping spiders — deadly poisonous — to track you down in Iowa or wherever. True, they don’t hop so fast. But they are persevering. They will find you. If you keep to your non-masturbatory agreement I’ll divert them to some others who deserve a fate worse than death. ☠️

Just so we’re clear ….

OK. If it's the right thing to do, I guess it's the right thing to do? :?

Why is it at the hands of the US? Is Putin not responsible for some of it? Why is the war in Ukraine being pursued so adamantly on the part of Putin?
Because he's had enough of NATO scooping up one country after another and the CIA initiating the 2014 coup in Ukraine.
When Gorbachev brought about Glasnost and Perestroika he dismantled the Warsaw Pact, THis was the world's greatest chance at lasting peace.
Sadly NATO continued to grow and the result of this expansion made the Gorbachev efforts look weak in the face of passive aggression by the west, so we had the rise of less friendly leaders such as Putin.
That makes some sense. However, war is not going to solve anything in the way it ought to be solved. Is there no way to resolve differences without invading or sending armies? Is that the only way things can be resolved?
I agree - but then I do not live in Russia, and cannot share their psychology of a fortress state having lost 24 million people at the hands of Western powers in WW2; and suffered civil war and revolution as a result of WW1.

From the perspective of the US citizen I imagine it would be very difficult for you to understand. And whilst your own military has been engaged in conflicts causing more deaths than any other country since WW2, I imagine that Russia feels rather under the US's continual threat.
It's about imagining a perspective.

What do you want from me, AJ? Have you lost something precious in life that you can't live without, therefore you wish such awful things on a person who has had many awful visions in his head at various times? What is it that you have lost?

Thank you Gary. At least you have the common decency to take notice of this. It’s the gentleman thing to do. Sadly lacking in this thread. But you are exemplary in your humanity Gary.
