Balance is No-thingness

Post by Eodnhoj7 »

A perfectly balanced life is effectively nothing as one extreme is counterbalanced by another extreme. This equilibrium results in a self negation of the qualities involved and as such observes a state of no-thingness, i.e. the absence of thingness. From this it may be implied that a morality of balance is a morality promoting a state of cessation of form.

"Who are you?"

"Right now I'm just a sack of meat."

"What?!"

"Never mind. I'm leaving anyway."

What is mortal life and what is “Real Reality?” If Agent Smith existed in a real matrix not a movie, do you think he would ever be able to access the outside of it? Is Agent Smith really alive? What are you?

In what ways should thinking about any of this lead to a change in priorities?

I can see that you've had training. Excelente!

"Guys, guys, guess who I met this morning, when I went for my walk?" asked Tom. "Ms. Maryam. There's someone one would like to meet in the morning - so full of life, cheerful, always has a kind word to say," said Dick. "And, if you're anything like us unlucky sods, probably Mr. Groucho ... Marx!" Harry joked. "No, not Ms. Jane and not Mr. Forrester, our local Grumpy smurf. I met Ms. Emily, the young teacher working at the high school," Tom looked smitten. Dick and Harry stared at each other, speechless, and worried. Emily had died 2 days ago in a car accident.

Oh, brother. Earth to Agent Smith. CALM DOWN! Just relax. Stay in your position. You can be "Agent Smith" if that's what you really want. Just relax and don't whig out like I did. Or if you wig out, just seek help. I've been on meds for 25 years. It's fine. It's doable. Or you can be a Human Being named Agent Smith. It's OK. Just relax.

Yes. Relax. Take deep breaths. You weren't aware. Neither was I aware of the magnitude of what is going on. Almost no one is. You've been living a lie. I've been living a lie. It's not your fault. It's no one's fault. But we need to get out of the lie. We need to preserve the world. That's all we need to do right now, NOTHING ELSE.

You say here that, you have been living a lie, which implies that you are not now. Is this correct? Are you living a lie, now?

What do you envision 'the world' needs 'preserving from', EXACTLY?

I don't think I am living in a lie right now. I believe the world needs to chill and change course. We need to focus on technologies that will save life on Earth not destroy it.

I NEVER find it LESS AMUSING EACH TIME a person BELIEVES that they WERE 'living a lie', but they ARE 'NOT, now'?
Gary Childress wrote: Fri Apr 14, 2023 6:41 am I believe the world needs to chill and change course.
I am PRETTY SURE that you WILL FIND that 'the world', itself, could NEVER 'chill', by itself, unless, of course, 'the world' has 'feelings' in relation to temperature, and WILL ONLY 'change course', by itself, on the very rarest of occasions, like with a HUGE volcanic eruption, for example.

HOWEVER, I KNOW, FOR SURE, that 'you', adult human beings, could be VERY HELPFUL if 'you' JUST CHANGED the WAY 'you' LOOKED AT, and SAW, 'things'.
Gary Childress wrote: Fri Apr 14, 2023 6:41 am We need to focus on technologies that will save life on Earth not destroy it.
But the earth, and life, itself, were doing PERFECTLY WELL, BEFORE 'you', adult human beings, STARTED INTRODUCING so-called 'technology' here.

WHAT, EXACTLY, is, supposedly, NOT 'the right thing to think' here?

There were a few things I thought about here? As can be CLEARLY SEEN and PROVED above here.

So, WHICH ONE are you referring to, EXACTLY?

And, are you going to EXPLAIN HOW and WHY 'it', (whatever 'it' is), is NOT 'the right thing to think', as well as EXPLAIN what, EXACTLY, NEEDS to be done BETTER, and WHY?

I can't. I can't explain what is in my mind. It is too terrible to vision and I'm not going to terrify others with it. It's too terrible.

Well considering the Fact that 'you' do NOT have 'your mind', and, 'your mind' is a MISNOMER or INCORRECT term, this helps in explaining WHY you ARE COMPLETELY INCAPABLE of explaining here.

Do you REALLY think or BELIEVE that 'us' here would be somehow 'terrified' by your OWN visions and/or thinkings?

Just so you are FULLY AWARE, there is NOT a thing that you could say here that would 'terrify' me AT ALL.
