ONCE AGAIN, 'anthropomorphism' in action, with a 'superioty complex' thrown in as well.

'you', human beings, are a part of the One, and NOT the other way around. Thee One is NOT a part of 'us'.

REALLY, it is ABSURD to 'try to' divide 'peoole' into ANY other than what they Truly ARE.

indeed, for to divide one who is truly what one is into two would make one half true twice, or truly what one is but half of what one wuz. i concede that such epistemological difficulty should be avoided and that one should not be divided at all.

I have coined this principle of reason 'Age's Razor'.

There is only the Absolute.
What is considered to be ‘I, the body-mind’ is now understood to be ‘I, consciousness’, and what was previously considered to be a world or an object known by a body-mind is now understood to be a world/object/body-mind known by consciousness.

However, if we make a deep exploration of the relationship between consciousness and the object (world/object/body-mind), we find no distinction between them. This may be expressed as consciousness and the object being one. But if consciousness and the object are one, it no longer makes sense to speak of an object.

In other words, there is no need for two words – object and consciousness – to denote one experience. It is realised rather than there was never an object there in the first place for consciousness to be one with. There is just consciousness.

However, at this stage there is no need even to conceptualise consciousness, for there is nothing to contrast it with (such as an object, world, body, mind or self), and here words fail us. The mind simply cannot go there. We fall silent.

The Absolute and the Relative are the same ONE

These words are only used as pointers. Pointing to the ineffable.

I doubt that Socrates said that. I can sort of see whoever made that up thinking it fit Socrates, since he was somewhat of a rationalist rather than an empiricist. But even people getting direct knowledge from the ether experience that.

(I know, I know..."no one exists, who cares who said it." But it struck me as odd for Socrates and I googled around. And, well, it's a quote with his name on it so it seems to matter to the proliferators)

You're right, no one said anything, no one knows anything, no one said something.

And who cares, those that mind don't nmatter and those that matter don't mind.

Socrates was an imposter. The mind is a myth, soc it to me one more time, soc'll rate it.

You need to take of your google goggles, and see who the real enlightened philosopher is.

You're right...
Great, and you can skip the middlemen in quotes; I'm sure you could have said it better.

Enligthtened philosopher is an oxymoron.
And most people who we're told are enlightened just got real skilled a judging and denying their emotions and desires.

I get who 'the real enlightened philosopher' you're referring to is, but I wanted to play with that phrase.

I think 'enlightened' is one of those toxic ideas.

There is no such thing as philosophical enlightenment.

An enlightened philosopher is a character within the illusory dream of separation.
There are no philosophical questions to be asked and no intellectual answers to be given to those questions.
Questions can only arise to the sense of a self where there isn’t one.

An enlightened philosopher is No philosopher.
