I want to talk to God

Is there a God? If so, what is She like?

Well, technically, wouldn't the same hold true of everyone who spoke to Jesus? Not sure how that works but I guess any encounter with even a part of the trinity would count as an encounter with God. Maybe?
That's an interesting remark. Those who spoke to Jesus actually spoke to God, oui? God heard/didn't is an open question.

Anyone can speak to God..it's when God responds that you should tighten your belt (and hope to fuck that you have been a good boy/girl).

There's a thread most apposite to the gist of your comment, but I can't seem to locate it, for the better most probably.

I sometimes feel pity for God, poor guy!

Reminds me of an old joke.

Question: What did the woman say after the courtship, the wedding, and the honeymoon?
Answer: Thank God I don’t have to give those BJ’s anymore.

Women are physically weaker than men, therefore women use their minds to control men. Once you know the ways of women you will see that their primary objective in their relations with men is to keep the man off balance and questioning reality so that he doesn’t wallow in the complacency in Luv, and take her for granted. It's called the War of the Sexes and men are not immune, although war is a bit strong of a word, at least until it becomes a war of divorce.

Wots up Gary? Was my suggestion not enough for you? Do you actually think that if God exists, that everything I have been talking about since my 1997 interactions with this entity as BOLLOCKS.
Atto is right, Gary: hypnotizing yourself with delusion is one path... of course, then you might become a manic bipolar drunk to block out awareness of what you're doing.

Nobody cares, Atto, what you've been talking about since 1997. We're all having our own experiences. Your rant against the 'faithless' is an absurd and transparent attempt at validating your beliefs. Anyone who doesn't believe as you do is 'faithless'!

Because God doesn't know what's in your heart or mind until you tell God, right? :) Why do you continue playing with absurdity and being pissed off about the results you get?

You want, you want, you want... but you're angry and bitter and have nothing to offer because you're tired of offering or trying. Gee... you're right... you deserve a bounty of success and satisfaction for all of that!

How about I deserve some success and satisfaction after all I've been through? If not, then I may as well just off myself because I'm tired of living in misery. At this point, I just want a peaceful and relatively painless death. If God has nothing else to offer, then just put me out of my misery. And don't include me in any more of his world-creating plans.

Closest thing to a divine encounter in order of most to least effective.

1. 5-MeO-DMT
2. DMT
3. Psylocybin
4. Mescaline

Consult your mental healthcare practitioner before departure.

Most of us have been through a lot. That doesn't earn success and satisfaction by itself. We have to build our mastery to manifest those things.

Why do you bother posting under my comments, Lace? You're not doing anything but invalidating my pain. Go find someone who wants their misery invalidated and post under them.

I'm NOT invalidating your pain! I'm reminding you that there are options that might help you WITHIN YOUR OWN CONTROL. You don't want to hear that, so you ignore it. As I asked elsewhere, what would YOU suggest to a person online, whom you don't know, who is saying all the things you are saying? Please tell us how you think we should respond. What would help? If you think it's so easy to respond appropriately to what you're saying and the attitude you're firmly holding, tell us what that response is from your viewpoint.

I'm not looking for someone to fix me through the Internet because I know it aint going to happen. I'm just looking for a place to express what I think and feel. Maybe someone else here can relate. If not, then don't worry about it.

Well, okay... but surely there are better places, not only for being much more kind and helpful for you, but better set up for dealing with your angry venting and threats of suicide.

I haven't made a single threat of suicide. I have only said that I hope God will just end my life soon in an amicable way. God can either oblige or not. Otherwise, I don't have the nerves to actively harm myself.
