Damon told Socrates; he said that when modes of music change, the fundamental laws of the Society always change with them. With the help of music gains the habit of good order, then this habit of order will accompany them in all their actions and be a principle of growth to them, and if there be any fallen places in the society will raise them up again in which education starts.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
If societies are well educated, and grow into sensible citizens they will easily see their way through all these events, as well as other matters as marriage, equal rights and bearing children, which will always follow the principle that friends have all things in common, as the proverb says.
The requisite is to try to establish truth above all. Consider that since this endeavour is most important, we should try not to tackle truth by pulling from the mind wrong opinions. Instead, we put the proper development of truth back together again, and remove it from mere opinion, go beyond the visible world.

A high privilege of mind is voice which can be wonderful in its utterance of self-feeling. Voice is a spiritual mechanism. Now metals sound but do not show a specific quality until it is stimulated from outside; get struck. Our subjective voice sounds its own accord, announces a spiritual nature by vibrating inwardly causing the air in us to vibrate.

Purpose the absolute inner essence comes forward with the world over against it. The necessity for survival is purpose. It is the practical the inner impulse, the migration of birds and fishes, or how one falls asleep without setting about doing so. We sleep and wake out of instinct, the same is true of gather food.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
To define rationally the idea of good and run through of all objections to prove not by opinion but truth. never faltering at any step of the argument. Dialectic philosophy is the coping-stone to all sciences. It set over knowledge, no other science can be placed higher.
Science can go no further. There should be a law that enables people to attain the greatest educational skills of dialectic knowledge. This is a perfection that all science ought to reach and which science students ought to attain and not fall short of it. For when a student know not only means their first principles are constructed out of know not, are unable to see the relationship of one and other.
What causes many to be persuaded there is difficulty in dialectic science is the fact that scientist today never raise their heads above the economy and are so accustomed to not knowing this knowledge.
Dialectical over steps opinions examines nature, not by physically grasping which only makes what is grasped subjective, and restricted. Socrates believed dialectical knowledge may be truly called most blessed, like a pearl in an oyster shell.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Dialectic knowledge is this intellectual discipline I study, must require an unwearied solid person lover of labor or that person will never be able to endure the study embraces freethinking and reason; the philosophical mind always loves the very hypothesis of Zeno's paradoxes inquire not only what will be the consequences to opposites in relation to self and the many, the hypothesis of one and many, but also what will be the consequences to each . If likeness is or is not, what will be the results in either of these cases of one and many being and not being?
This naturally summons to mind calculation and intelligence, whether objects are one or two always some contradiction is present, and one is the reverse of one involves the conception of plurality.
Thought is aroused and wants to know. A director can hardly be found, unfortunately and even if one were available as matters stand today, the students are very conceited, would not attend to them.
Truly you will not easily find a more difficult study is a kind of science in which the best learning philosophers should be trained in and which must not be given up.
Geometry aims at this eternal knowledge does not perishing or transient. Geometry draws the mind towards truth creates the spirit of philosophy, compels philosophers to view more easily the idea of good; compels the mind to turn gaze toward that place where is the full perfection of being and which philosophers ought to behold

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Purpose is acquired before birth or at least at the instant of birth by the help of the senses, sight or hearing or some other. I am not only speaking of purpose but beauty, goodness, justice, holiness, they are all stamped of essence. Then the senses recover whatever we knew previously and forgot. That is science a process of remembering and may be rightly termed knowledge.
And those who have purpose are generally quick at every kind of talent but even those not so talented having arithmetical training become much quicker than if they would otherwise had. Therefore numbers may be truly called necessary for the attainment of purpose. Arithmetic’s and geometry are a kind of knowledge in which the best learned natures should be trained in and never give up the study. Geometry visions the idea of good; compel us to turn and gaze toward good full perfection is behold.
Geometry draws the mind towards, arithmetic for the sake of talent seen through mind only. Arithmetic’s is necessary in all arts and talent are used in common, which every one first has to learn among the elements of education a little matter of distinguishing one, two, and three.

If simple one could adequately be perceived by the sight or by any other senses, but when there is some contradiction present and one is the reverse of one this involves plurality, right away then thought begins to be aroused and the mind perplexed wants to arrive at a decision. Knowledge has power to convert mind to contemplate.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Hegel declared “being” is pure thought and also in relation to self-consciousness, sense-experience and perception weaves and moves inarticulately within being.
Absolute being has no self-distinguishing conscious, it is simply immediate thought, nothing else. It the same time consciousness called absolute matter, the inner pure consciousness, the ultimately simple nonjudgmental the pure ideal being.
Matter is a wholly contingency holds together two opposite moments. That is matter has a reciprocal regulated role, two in one only passes from one moment to another is capable of both rest and motion, from one state to other by outside force.
Matter and motion are one and the same dwelling together is a struggle for on each offer equal resistance to each other, each constitutes a single place in the other.
The unity of matter and motion is simply elasticity being-for-self and being-for-other. The intensity is simply preserving self through forces like matter and motion resist each other each strives towards their center.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Philosophy is more heavenly than any of other learning, is useful and good, always the handy helper of greater good, and understanding.
Truth is its meadow there philosophers soar when nourished can take negative view point toward the world turning it into a positive one.
God’s blessing is the mind, the body that is moved from without is mindless but we move from within have mind.
Imagine God shining in company with the celestial forms shining in clearness through the clearest aperture of the mind. God, I believe , traverses every where in the whole heaven and orders the whole world.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Your abusive language has been reported. Further, I mean it in all sincerity that I hope you get help for your mental illness. Much of what you've written here is totally incoherent. This word salad that you've written is red flag indicator for schizophrenia. You need help, I hope you're seeing a psychiatrist. If not I strongly urge you to seek one out. Good luck.Barbara Brooks wrote:Fuck off.

Fuck you again
Re: Philosophy of Mind
So, in all your sincerity, you think dropping out of nowhere in to the middle of a thread someone has put months of work in to, and telling a total stranger that they are nuts is the best way to help them get treatment???noen wrote: Further, I mean it in all sincerity that I hope you get help for your mental illness.
Sorry, what a complete load of crap.
But what the hell, I'm up for it. Based on the same lack of information and expertise you used in your analysis, I have concluded that in my expert opinion you are the one who is nuts, if you think we're going to buy your sincerity.
What Barbara said.
