Can we ever trust what the Newspapers say??

I thought it might be nice to have a space where we can show media manipulation...

Sadly this is seen as a right wing opinion. I remember when the Left were skeptical about government, media and corporations.
Way back in the 60s. Chomsky and Herman wrote about how the media is skewed by the interests of the powerful

in the years since that was written the media has been concentrated more and more in a few corporations.

I think "manufacturing consent" is one one the best explanatory phrases ever. Right up there with "military/industrial complex", which is what is driving this war, and "American Exceptionalism" which is used to justify the US being the most guilty of political and military interference on the planet.
