I thought he was explaining Hinduism's view on blindness, rather than speaking for blind people.
He was explaining his view of blind people. He asserted what he believes is true. He was not being like a university professor or a wikipedia entry, telling people about the beliefs of Hinduism.

He said she said ... she said he said ... they said they said, we said we said ... what did he mean, what did you mean ...
What a bunch of noise.
What a fucking moron.
Go and do your meditating, Walker, and don't come back until you're in a better mood.

My mood is fine, bimbo. Just fine. What do you have to say about the thread topic?

That bull.
Which bull, and what about it?
You've offered no supporting evidence of that
Just read the opening post if you want evidence.
You've not explained why, and because you're no one special, your opinion has worth only to yourself. I don't give a hoot in hell that you think it's primitive, or if it is. Your opinion doesn't convince me.

What does that have to do with me?
You're blind, he's blind.
You like your life, he likes his life.
Blindness is not an obstacle to you.
Blindness is not an obstacle to him.
The thread title indicates that blindness is a topic here.
This all is quite quite obvious, thus why ask the question?
So because he's blind, that makes him similar to me, does it? Disregarding all the obvious differences, of course.
In any case, as an ex soldier, he obviously wasn't born blind, which is totally different. In my humble opinion.

I've heard that before.
You're not alone. Many say the same, in their own way.
The difference is that he presumed to be able to speak for blind people, while doing no research.
I've made quite a study of Hinduism, and other religions.
I thought he was explaining Hinduism's view on blindness, rather than speaking for blind people.
Judging from what he said, Hinduism appears to have a view on blindness without actually speaking to any blind people. Such a view is hardly worth much.
