But look at the shading man. homegirl on the left's arm and shoulder blade. and then see that shiny spot on girl on the right's hair? I know how they do that. they color a spot in and then erase it off i think. and then come back and draw a few strands of hair over the erased spot.

if u think about it these pencil artists are like the kung-fu masters of the graphic arts becuz they perform these elaborate moves that involve not only drawing and penciling in, but also erasing and purposely smudging areas to create a special effect the pencil can't produce.

like u might hear her say some shit like 'it is not only the form and structure of the substance of the piece that gives it its graphic depth and meaning, but also the places of emptiness and space, where the pencil is removed or a previous form erased. shadow and light can only be produced this way' while standing before an easel at a waterfall giving a class to kung-fu students all dressed in identical robes and with identical, student issued easels and pencils.

alright u guys i built the porch yesterday and all i got left is the steps, drywall, trim and laminate flooring and lock set. (I'll talk her into lettin me put a lattice skirt around the whole joint, watch).
