You're free to disclaim any need for restorative justice as a member of a group treated unjustly. I would never deny you and others like you that right: that's what the right to self-determination entails.

I just encourage you to think about other groups whose members in the vast majority would not disclaim their legitimate right to restorative justice.

The primary group to which I refer in discussions like this is that of indigenous Australians, because I immigrated to Australia as a child (not understanding the political consequences), and thus it is the colonial system that I understand best.

Europeans invaded this continent. Indigenous Australians never ceded their lands.

More than 200 years later, it has everything to do with them.

The aborigines have been treated like shit since the first colonists arrived there. It's very recent history and ongoing. They were being hunted into the 1970s for fuck sake, which means that many of those murderers would be still alive today. If you feel that badly then you could always go back to whence you came.

However, the point is that I was simply using the KKK picture as an example of humans who have freely chosen to wear costumes that help to clearly identify the depth and degree of their earthly somnambulism...
Interesting. And folks always thought they were just hiding their identities to escape prosecution for their illegal actions.

'Persecution'? Is that really the word you wanted to use?

No. I edited it to prosecution, before (5:25 am) the spell check that is now your assigned duty.

The mis-spelling was caused by the oft' need to reference what it is, that you do.

You persecute Christianity.

Thanks for the highlight, you stupid kunt.

We seem to agree here. I'm not 100% sure on the hunting into the 1970s, but it sure seems plausible. Indigenous Australians have suffered extraordinarily at European hands.

Well, I came from South Africa, which was itself an exploitative colonial project.

If you mean, where I ultimately came from: that would probably be, for the most part, Scotland at best guess. There are reasons why returning there is not so feasible for me.

The best I can do in my current situation is to fight and to advocate for, and to support, where I am here and now, restorative justice for indigenous Australians. If that ultimately results in my return to my long-ago ancestral lands, then I will cross that bridge at the time.
