I agree, things are going to get very tough for many of us, if not most. The next few years are going to be a real turning point in how we live our lives and our relationship with other countries. There are so many possible flashpoints around the world that it's impossible to anticipate which one it will be that starts the fire. But one thing is for sure, things are not going to get better.

Hoping for a mild winter, but just in case it does get unbearably cold....these are good..



I've bought two, I'm going to be wearing two at once, one smaller size, and the other a larger size to go over the smaller one.

I wore these all last winter, they do help...but it's a pain trying to wash up the dirty pots while wearing them. The pot washing activity is unbearable in the winter. And no, haven't got an automatic diswasher either. I'd rather wash my dirty dishes by the old fashioned way, by hand.

Except I don't go out hardly ever these days, unless I need to restock up on my dwindling food supplies... There is a Morrisons supermarket only a stone-throw away from my house, so I'm ok.

Only this morning, I read about some crazy rampage in Canada, so either we are evolving as a human species, or nothing is changing, maybe getting worse... regressing backwards to the days when dinosaurs would knock seven bells out of each other on a daily basis, because there was nothing better to do.

vegetariantaxidermy I live in a timber house, big verandahs back and front, which is lovely in summer, but where i live it is usually 5 degrees colder than the rest of the state, have a Coonara to keep the house warm. The down side of that is chopping the wood. I didn't think we had much rain this winter.
It was horrendous up North i.e “Beautiful One Day Perfect The Next or City of Celebrations.

I love winter, not looking forward to summer and those hot northerly winds.

You'd be the first I'd eat after cooked on a fire if I was hungry - 1 to stop the negativity and projection of hopelessness in the group - 2 because I am probably hungry (and as you know I enjoy animal flesh).
